Condi Rice is an answer to our prayers.

Of all of Bush's circle of advisers, I predict that out of this war she will arise as a mirror image of Lady Thatcher. Her talk with the Beeb yesterday indicated to me that she has the historical understanding of the stakes of this war that others do not.

BTW, nice to hear that we have the Right on our side in Britain. We have the right on our side in America, as well as the innate understanding of most Americans of the terrible stakes of this war. Of course, rumor has it that the Bubba is about to come out against war to a speech at the upcoming TUC conference.

Around us is irresolution. Thankfully, at the helm is a man with solid resolution.

My pleasure. My sole regret is that I failed the physical for joining the military (bad kidneys). Other members of my family are in the military and there is no questioning their belief that fighting this war is the right thing to do.
