[history]
The drums of war bang louder, the squeals of the weenies grow shriller. If you're a European pol, or even a British backbencher, it's tough when a good-looking American woman is a bigger, smarter, tougher man than you are.
Condoleezza Rice, the White House national security adviser, raises the temperature of the water Saddam Hussein insists on swimming in, citing, for the Europeans with short memories and shorter attention spans, two occasions on which Iraq had "come closer than we thought at the time to acquiring nuclear weapons."

So, American women should aspire to be big and tough? Uh...... don't think I'll make it. I'm afraid I'm too girly, which used to be acceptable for females. I don't think I'll be turning into Charles Bronson anytime soon.

Besides, it's important to keep in mind Stonewall Jackson's admonition that a soldier never takes counsel with fear.
Great quote.

You missed his whole point.

Not really, I just think it's silly to compare strong women with men.

Who needs Stonewall Jackson, George S. Patton or Norman Schwarzkopf when Kofi Annan is standing by, resolutions at the ready?Even better!

The point was that a woman is showing up the so-called "men" in Europe and on the American left. Of course, women have often resorted to humiliating their men in effort to get the men to do what needed to be done.

"There will be no world order if the most powerful states are entitled to remove other governments at will." Does this liberal dweeb believe that the world will be in more order when the weak governments feel entitled to remove the more productive ones at will?
Sometimes I think liberal spokespeople speak just to hear themselves talk, they like everyone else never really listen to what they are saying.
To: kattracks
I know this is a silly little matter but what happened to the constitutional duty of congress to declare war?

"There will be no world order if the most powerful states are entitled to remove other governments at will." Oh, but that is exactly what gives order to the world. The decent people of the world should give many thanks that we are the most powerful instead of Iraq, Saudi Arabia or China.

The British Right is on your side. Blair is on side. Sod what the rest of them say.
We still have a backbone. If we didn't, we'd be French.

"So, American women should aspire to be big and tough?"....
Condi's cool, but every American woman should emulate Heather Nauert ...... beautiful, and, her presentation of her news reports are perfectly delivered. No purring, preening, and lip gloss, just a beautiful woman offering her presentations flawlessly. She needs her own show on FoxNews........ co-hosting something with Brit Hume or Tony Snow.
Go Condi and Heather!

Starting a whispering campaign, are you? ;)
I finally saw her on Fox News last night. Not bad.

Does this liberal dweeb believe that the world will be in more order when the weak governments feel entitled to remove the more productive ones at will? Obviously they do, with the help of the Euro-weenies, and as much as I hate to admit it the US. Allowing two-bit, terrorist supporting countries to have such a large voice in the UN, has rightly enhanced these countries belief that they can remove productive governments at will. Case in point, the US being removed from the UN Human Rights Council while countries like China and Syria have a place at the table of so called "human rights".

The British Right is on your side. That doesnt matter
when much of the American Right is not. Bush has, so far, failed to make his case to America. If Condi Rice can make the case for war to the British, then Bush will have a template for making his case at home.

He's utterly barmy and he wants nukes. Take him out before he creates more damage. I believe also the polls are in Bush's favour.
