I have always had the deepest respect for the U.S. military, having been born and raised in a Navy family, but since coming to this website, my support for our fighting men and women and those who have served in the past has become a passion. Thank you for keeping our military loved ones front and center every day.

God bless America and God bless our men and women in uniform.

Hello Clara. How are things in beautiful Baltimore? I haven't been back east for many years, but I used to live in D.C., I've visited Baltimore many times. Someday I am coming back to the east coast for a visit. I had intended to take my son back east when he was younger, but it never happened. Then he joined the Navy and got to see it courtesy of Uncle Sam. :-)

While driving in Pennsylvania, a family caught up to an Amish carriage.

The owner of the carriage obviously had a sense of humor, because attached to the back of the carriage was a hand printed sign . . .

"Energy efficient vehicle. Runs on oats and grass. Caution: Do not step on exhaust."
