Definitely Billy Mays for Oxy Clean (and now the "Ding King")...this guy's whiny, grating voice practically makes me go into a seizure..the kids all know to run for the remote mute button when he comes on...

He did the early Geico commercials. Yeah, I was really bummed when one day the same ads were running except the gecko now had the voice of some anonymous, vaguely British accent. This was right before they went all-gecko-all-the-time with their ads. I love almost all of them, but every time I hear his voice I think, "He's Frazier Gecko! This is WRONG!"

Definitely Billy Mays for Oxy Clean (and now the "Ding King")...this guy's whiny, grating voice practically makes me go into a seizure..the kids all know to run for the remote mute button when he comes on...While trying to find a good Billy Mays picture to post above, I came acoss this thread from the message section of GayUniverse.com. (If you punch in "Billy Mays" in Google, the gay thing is the very second link.) You should all read the whole thing. None of the posts are particularly pornographic or anthing, but they are deeply amusing. It looks like a lot of gay "bears" think Billy (who also qualifies as a "bear", whether he knows it or not) is just GORRRRGEOUS! The thread also contains a few "Are you nuts?" responses and an argument over whether that ring on his finger is a wedding band or just a generic piece of jewelry.

Hi, I have tried that and it did not work this time for some reason. I have tried many things to get that ink out. Oh!!! A funny story. When Jan was about 18 months old she got into my makeup and decorated the bedroom wall and the chest. I panicked--who wouldn't seeing all that red lipstick on a wall and furniture. I thought about her baby oil and tried that. It was a miracle. All of the red was gone after using that oil on cotton balls.

The Ditech guy.. you know..the guy that also plays his mother who turns him down for a loan ... I actually kind of like that guy. The main problem is that they only make one ad with this guy which ends up running dozens of times per day on every channel for a good 3-6 months. They need to do like Geico and make a whole bunch of ads that constantly rotate and are constantly updated. Considering the cheapness of the Lotech Ditech ads, I can't imagine it would cost them more than an extra few thousand to do this.
