I think that Oxi-Clean stuff looks like fun to play with! I would be tempted to pour wine and iodine in the wash just to watch it change! Ever bought it?

It works! I use an iodine sanitizer and just felt like an experiment one day. Oxyclean turned the water clear. It's cool to watch the oxygen clean the crud on my carboys, it bubbles over like a mini volcano.

Dell has a plant here in Tennessee, so I regard it as a statistical possibility that, while cruising down the road, I will spy Steve, the Dell guy, stepping off the curb, into the street. I will smile, and punch the gas...

I have been looking for some place to say this for weeks.

I find those ads about 9-11 from Kantor Fitzgerald to be THE most offensive things I have EVER seen. If I brokered with them, I'd dump all my stock.

Yeah, Jack walks up to and knocks on this guys door, the guy opens the door and Tell Jack his name is Ronald MacDonald. Jack says, No! Mr. Ronald MacDonald then tells jack he loves his hamburger. Jack says, WOW! Even Ronald MacDonald loves my hamburger.

They must of had a big choice of which real Ronald MacDonald to use. As there are probably 5,000 in America....

Funny stuff..

I'm too lazy to read this entire thread to see what's already been commented upon, but here are my nominees for the most annoying product spokesman:

***1.*** (TOP CHOICE) That idiotic guy who wanders all over creation with his cell phone asking, "Can you hear me now? Good!" He's even more annoying on the Spanish versions of the commercial.
2. Billy Mays, the Oxy-Clean guy.
3. The Di-Tech.com bank loan guy.
4. Any and all commercials having anything to do with Friedman's Jeweler's.
5. Any and all Time Warner Cable and/or satellite dish commercials.

BTW, bought my second Dell Computer a couple of months ago.

I have to agree with you re: Kantor Fitzgerald.

It is an idea that could almost have worked, except it was done almost completely wrong.

I find his voice a little grating.
Since he only does voice overs, I can spot his voice a mile away. He did the early Geico commercials.
The person who plays Roze on Frazier does a lot of car commercials and radio spots. Just a little info.

I'm annoyed by the song that plays on the PetsMart ads.

And any of the sign carrying bimbos who advertise the car dealerships in Orlando.

"That sleazy guy who advertises for DiTech.com ..... the loan company. He makes even the Dell Dude (my second choice) seem ok in comparison."

Yeah, I call it "FOADieTech". :)

Of course, if TVs were free, my .45 would be getting quite the workout what with all the d00dyoogoddadell spewage too. :) And the screamingmoron from "Oxyclean", well, let's not go there, shall we? :)

Those of you in who listen to talk radio a lot, especially in the NYC metro area, may recognize this one on the radio: "JOINTRITIS, young man, JOINTRITIS!" In a high-pitched, almost loopy lunging voice. If she weren't talking over the phone, you can see her in your mind getting up from her chair and getting in front of the radio show host, grabbing him by the collar and screaming, "Don't you GET it!?!?! JOINTRITIS! SAY IT! SAY IT! AUUUUUUUGH!"

I forgot the Wal-Mart commercials, where the big yellow happy face goes around lowering prices and all the customers put on their biggest grins and laugh as if their worst feelings are gone. If they are given such joy by a big yellow smiley face floating around then something's wrong. They once did that with a lady with a terrible voice singing "Put on a Happy Face" or whatever that song is called. I swear, commercials can't get one good actor or singer.

The Geico lizard.

Seconded. I've done business with Geico and, guess what: they really are lizards>>>>>>>>>>

Can't speak knowledgeable about the insurors, but the lizard is not a lizard but a gecco (gecko). I lived with them in my house for several years. You can't get rid of them. They walk the walls and ceiling. They let loose a very loud Gkk..Gkk Gkk...Gecco oo oo. Some times their suction cups let go and splat...they fall to the floor.
