I used to have a old newspaper with a big headline:
"Reagan switches parties to HELP SAVE AMERICA!"
I sure wish I still had it!
Tearful bump to no one in particular.
Just wanted to express my sorrow for this great man. God bless you, President Reagan, and your family.
(Dear Nancy, hold on to the good memories, his love notes, and all those little precious moments you shared together.)

I hate this.
God Bless President Reagan, and give strength and comfort to his Nancy.

To a great man and supreme leader, God Bless You, Ronnie.
There will never be another like you.
Thank God I had the privilege of voting for you twice!
As for you, Bubba, you couldn't be his toilet paper...

It happens that I visited the Reagan Library this Sunday, on some time off I had from business in LA. I recommend it: lots of reminders of what life was like not just during the Reagan administration, but as we were growing up years before. It was Reagan's speech for Barry Goldwater that started the conservative movement we know today.
The Library has apparently acquired the old Air Force One, the 707, and will set it up in its own building on the site by 2004.

I have to admit I really don't like stories like this. The reason is, they tend to crop up every few months or so regarding the same people (the pope is an example -- how many times has he been said to be near the end?).
Reagan was a great man and a great president, and I wish he and his family weren't suffering right now. Perhaps what I really mean is, I wish the Lord would just take him instead of letting him go on.

"I've got to go, Rock. It's allright. I'm not afraid. Some time, Rock, when the team is up against it, when things are wrong and the breaks are beating the boys, tell them to go in there with all they've got and win just one for the Gipper. I don't know where I'll be then, Rock, but I'll know about it, and I'll be happy." God Bless Ronald Reagan, and God Bless the United States of America
