I thought autism was a condition one is born with not one that develops after birth.

I read recently, not sure where, that some are speculating that autism is caused by an over development in the brain in utero.

I certainly don't have any ideas or guesses. My oldest son has been diagnosed with Asperger Syndrome. He got all his shots. His dad and I like to think we are *very intelligent :)

Really? That is interesting. What is Asperger Syndrome? I have never heard of that.

My grandson has CP, not too badly, he's a diapalegic, but on a scale of one to ten he is a five on the autism. It was easy to pick him out on the chart. The Doctor said it was sensory perception deprivation which I also never heard of. But that is what he was treated for. Strange treatments, but he seems better.
