Great Idea, and enough time to get the word out. Thanks.

What is the deal with Patriot Day (9/11)? Is it a federal holiday (where banks close, etc)? Or is it just a recognition day?

Already sent to all family and friends and they in turn wil do the same thing. I will wear my red, white and blue proudly on Sept 11th as I always have. Our flags fly now and will continue to do so. We will NEVER Forget. One Nation Under God!

I got this message in an email a few days ago. I suggest we all send it to every email address we know.
This is an appropriate way to memorialize those who were murdered in the attack, those who saved others and those who fight to destroy terrorists who would kill more Americans.

Should flags be raised halfway on September 11?
It would be helpful to know what the proper flag etiquette is for this upcoming sad anniversary.
Any thoughts?

Bump to the top. I emailed the non-FR crowd of mine. (it's not really a crowd - more like a few people). FV

Call me crazy, But I haven't missed a day wearing my red white and blue ribbon w/ flag since Sept 11th.
It's called Patriotism. We're at War... And I won't stop until victory is achieved.
I received an e-mail the other day about this, and I believe it is the same old same old. Everyone wants a holiday, but they don't proudly share their partiotism everyday. Too Bad people don't stand up everyday for America. Have you notices, the Flags are disappearing from cars, storefronts, lapels, and on and on?
