Thank God for Ronald Reagan (and Maggie Thatcher). I shudder, literally shudder, to think what the world would be like now if those two had not risen to power when they did.

Let us not again forget or shirk, as we had by the late 70's, the great Western initiative since World War II to foster the spread of prosperity and liberty in the world. Reagan remembered, and recognized the critical importance of this task. So did Thatcher. They did more to restore true liberalism to the West than any so-called liberal (leftist) has ever done. They not only defened and restored liberty, and confidence, in their own countries, but thanks to them, and the effects their policies had on the world, tens of millions around the globe have been lifted out of degradation and oppression.
