I meant to type "It's tough being an old woman in Nigeria" but for some reason it came out as "It's tough being on old women in Nigeria".Right on both counts.
Just guessing.

Okay.
You have a constitutional right to openly carry a gun without a license or permit, across statelines in interstate travel for personal security and for the security of a free state.
How's that?
To: Merchan Seaman
Hey Don Hamrick. I figured I better say hi quick before you get kicked off of here with your inimitable style. Its good to see that you are still alive and kicking as I have not heard hide nor hair of the old Hutchinson board gang in quite some time.
Looks like some here have got the impression that you are a troublemaker. Thats rather mean and I can assure them that you are far, far, beyond troublemaker. Hope you can stay on here a few days before getting kicked off.

Now you folks are starting to make me laugh...
To: Merchan Seaman
How's that? I hear the weather in Leavenworth is rather hot in the summer.

Thats rather mean and I can assure them that you are far, far, beyond troublemaker. How can you vouch for this individual?
To: Merchan Seaman
MS, it's a hard audience here, but once you get through the tough exterior, they are mostly teddy bears. Besides, what's so hard to understand about "the right to keep armed bears shall not be infringed"? Good luck and give 'em hell!

Welcome to Free Republic. Sorry you are not getting the replies you hoped for. I hope your lawsuit works for you. However, as someone who has been involved in many lawsuits, it is best to stay out of the courts if at all possible, even when you are in the right. The odds are better in Las Vegas.
Unfortunately, yours is the type of grievance which must be taken to the courts. You will probably be shot down but you can stand tall because at least you tried, unlike most of us who fritter away our precious days doing little or nothing for our country, at least in the magnitude of your lawsuit.
Please keep us updated.

Yeah! That ole' Asa Hutchinson NEVER answered my posts calling on him to submit legislation to restore gun rights. Now he's head of DEA.
I have since then continued my studies into the Second Amendment and found in the U.S. Code an open door for the restoration of gun rights to "open carry" without license or permit. Learned so much that I was able to initiate the lawsuit against President Bush and Ashcroft for the LIP SERVICE on the Second Amendment.
This case should cause a legal storm in the courts. I hope it does.

u may have a technically sustainable position, but, pardon me, u sound 'like a troublemaker'. Merchan Seaman,
Good luck on your suit. There are indeed Second Amendment advocates here, and I'm sure lots of them will hope you give the government the hell it deserves. The liberals use the legal system all the time to "make trouble" on behalf of their causes. Conservatives need to quit their love affair with the status quo and quit playing nicey-nice--we need to turn the tables on the government and rattle some cages ourselves.

Let's see what sarcasm you can dream up for that rather that discuss the legal case itself. OK, I'll get serious and ping two VERY pro-Second Amendment FReepers to evaluate your case. I'd encourage anyone else on this thread to do similar pro-2A pings.
Fair enough?

KLAIPEDA, LITHUANIA, FOLKS!!!
I left that hotel daily for the local Internet cafe coresponding with Angel Shamaya, KeepAndBearArms.com and David Codrea, Citizens of America in order to establish a written record for my lawsuit.
HOW'S THAT FOR VOUCHING?
To: hole_n_one; Merchan Seaman
Thanks for the link. Don: Using a point-blank graphic and "warning" on your correspondence to the Coast Guard captain wasn't the brightest of moves, eh?
