Wow! I thought those were pics you just downloaded off of a Crawford site. They are so professional-looking! Great work.

" Now I have to wait a week : ("
You know, you could always air condition your garage while you're waiting.

Yeah, just like the hag to prance around Crawford like she is something. And ... our President, ever the gracious host, would be civil to her as usual. Quite frankly, I hope she is not invited. I think she just wants the publicity for herself, and not for the project.
I think our President needs to read the story of what Jesus said to the Pharisees in the book of Matthew - He called them a brood of vipers; right there in the town square.

Thank you so much for your (always) excellent pictures!

Reminds me of the movie Hope Floats with the small town atmosphere.
Has to be murder on those big city boys. LOL ! Thanks, I love it! Good picture.

Thank you! I'll be adding those to my collection!

Howdy! Would you mind if I used your Crawford pics in some of my future
posts? I love those!
To: ValerieUSA
You take the most beautiful pictures. Are you a professional photographer or is it a hobby?

El Charros some of the best D#mn mexican food in Waco, just don't look at the floors they are always dirty! I like Heitmiller's (sp?)Steak House. I eat there every time I go to Waco. It's hard to get a steak of that quality for so little money and the service is genuine Texas hospitatlity.

It would be interesting to see what percent of the vote Crawford casts for the Republican congressional candidate in the fallCrawford's population is almost insignificant compared to the rest of Chet Edward's district, which for some lame brained reason seems to be enamored of him. I wish Bush would do a little stumping for his GOP opponent, Ramsey Farley, while he's here.

I like Heitmiller's (sp?)Steak House. We love Heitmiller's and were there last week. They have some of the best chicken fried steak in Texas. The atmosphere there is decidedly comfortable and informal. I'm sure if the press corps ventures that way they will be horrified by the squeeze Parkay on the tables, lol!

You know, you could always air condition your garage while you're waiting. Kitkat, if you are going to come down here and fit in you will have to become acclimated to the heat. The garage won't be THAT bad. I will give you a fan, okay? You can always ring the doorbell if you need medical attention.

Oh, heart of stone! Soul of granite! I could carve another Mount Rushmore out of your will power. (Well, okay, but I get the BIG fan.)

You are being so melodramatic, lol. Since you don't like the garage, look at this building which has natural air flow. Is this more to your liking?

Well, I know the Crawford, TX, vote is very small numerically -- I just wondered if Bush was convincing his neighbors to go Republican for Congress.
To: Theodore R.
I know that FDR could never convince the voters of Hyde Park, NY, to vote Republican for Congress or the legislature for that matter. In fact, I don't think Hyde Park ever even voted for FDR in all four campaigns! But I know Crawford will vote for Bush for president, but it may reject his congressional choice.

I left my hotel at 5 a.m., and hundreds of others had to get up similarly early to make it possible for one man to play a round of golf.Unlike X42 who closed down the whole golf club for hours so he could play during prime time. President Bush is very considerate of the lives of ordinary people. Of course the press preferred prime time playing regardless of its effect on others....seems they are for the powerful, not for the people.
