What a bunch of interesting facts you posted! I have lived in Clovis since I was 5 years old, (just a couple of years) and I didn't know some of that!

I remember May Case, she was not even 5ft tall, and still wore a bonnet and a calico dress. She lived to a very old age and was still a newspaper woman until the end!

The antique store where I have my booth is the old building of the Clovis Independent and some people think she is still there!
