I'm sorry, forgive me, I will try to not let it happen again. :)

Rush didn't volunteer. Rush got himself classified 4F, not subject to the draft. Your point is irrelevant. And Rush's politics aren't important either except for the hypocrisy part.

Further, "thinking" conserviatives like myself don't send their kids off to war because of the nitwit "military strategy" of uneducated (not even sophomoric) self-absorbed armchair generals like Rush.

Heads up, dude. The more you pontificate, the more you marginalize yourself.

Keep that in mind.

Why stop at Iraq? Get rid of every one of the countries which can't govern themselves. Make them colonies.

I find him as credible as about 90% of the other eligible who did not serve, from what I understand there were approximately 30 Million eligible young men who could serve during the Viet Nam war.

Of those thirty million approximately 3 million served in country.

So the other 27 million who did not serve should have no voice in the say of the military today.

One small problem with your math is that many served who did not end up in country including some RA's. The Army has a way of doing with you as they darn well please!

I know what that condition is, as I had it when I was 17 myself. It involves surgery and a few days in the hospital. If he wussed out, does that mean he couldn't realize it later? Maybe get to feeling guilty about it, then resolving to be the best conservative commentator he can be? Everyone who you know as a stand up guy today might not have been one yesterday. Get off his freakin' back and attack his positions that you don't like, not the man himself.

We'll have to take your word for it

Read the registration jackass. Rob Pierce registered those domains on his own. I didn't approve. And so what?!!

Really.... SO WHAT!!!

Stupidity and smarm at your level of cosmic anality generally can only be viewed via the Hubbell Telescope.

You clearly don't know what you are talking about, so the question I have for you is, why do you use FreeRepublic.com as a platform to spread malicious slander? What exactly are you trying to achieve?

I'm proud of my service, it was a great experience, and I'm proud of my generation, unlike 4F Limbaugh.

You simply cannot defend his position that the Baby Boomers ran and hid under the covers unlike their fathers who won WWII.

SOME ran and hid. And they hate that part of themselves.
That's a fact.

C'mon. I agree with 95% of what Rush says, but I totally reject his hatred of his own generation upon which he has pontificated ad nauseum. And that's the issue here. He's simply nobody anyone should listen to when it comes to making a decision to support a military action.

Read the registration jackass.

I did. It shows that "Giles, Pierce & Griffin" was the registrant. Perhaps you are unaware of this, but the registrant bears legal responsibility for the domain names.

The message from Robert Pierce states -

There are no plans whatsoever to create a Rush or Drudge forum. We have reserved the aforementioned domain names because we count ourself their friends and friends of Republican and Conservative organizations and causes and would rather have the names reserved and controlled by us than by their enemies.

If they ever desired the names from us for any reason we would transfer them immediately at no cost. For those unfamiliar with internet business, it is quite common (and prudent) to reserve many, many domain names in and around your online business name/address for a variety of (what should be) obvious reasons.

[snip]

Robert Pierce
Giles, Pierce & Griffin

When Pierce refers to "we" and "us" and signs his message "Giles, Pierce & Griffin", it's logical to interpret his message as a statement by the organization, not just himself as an individual. As a partner, he was entitled to conduct business and issue statements on behalf of the organization.
