There is no bibical evidence that Jesus drank wine, although, at a wedding, He performed His first miracle by turning water into wine so He didn't disapprove of it as a beverage. He did not condone drunkeness. He did not authorize His likeness being used to give the impression that he drank Bud, either.
The picture was uncalled for and while defacing 'art' is not condoned, one can understand why an outraged citizen was moved to deface the thing.
Now now, my friend........you know better. That wasn't fermented wine as we know it; not the wine that Jesus drank. Well known fact, well established.
What Would Jesus Drink.
I suspect Jesus was a real kick-ass, not the prissy sissy he is made out to be by the anally retentive and excessively holy who control todays churchs. Could probably knock back a Bud with the boys and really enjoy it. And in the process attract real men.
Heck at the wedding in Cana (sp?) they ran out of wine and He made more out of water. I wonder what the hangovers were like after that party?
