hmmmmm... well I would think John the Baptist would have been buried in a traditional Hebrew grave. But I suppose by stuff in the tomb and carbon dating they can pinpoint the date of the skeletal remains.Sounds pretty far fetched that its the Baptist tho.

Is it missing the head? That found its way off the body and onto a platter, IIRC.
PS. Jesus was an Essene, though not a member of the strictly-celibate sect of Essenes that ran Qumran.
