President Bush was granted trade promotion authority today by the Senate, and later thanked them for working so hard on this issue. Bush also met with Jordan's King Abdullah and discussed the war on terror, the crisis in Israel, and future actions against Iraq. Although King Abdullah made it clear that an attack on Iraq could lead to unrest in the entire region, Bush made it clear that he would not change his mind regarding a regime change. On the lighter side, Bush signed the Nursing Reinvestment Act of 2002, which will create federal assistance programs for nursing students as well as support a public service campaign encouraging people to become nurses. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

**Incidentally, my furniture is lucky to get dusted with a damp rag twice a year, let alone get buffed with Pledge every day. It's one of the many benefits of furnishing one's home with yard sale rejects and slightly-broken furniture that someone else left out on the curb...(don't be mortified, I'm a college student...slovenliness is totally allowed) **
reDublican...meet Grammie: Dumpster Diver in Extreme :o)

Lovely words, ohio. Lawgirl...many of us have been through really horrid, trying, and seemingly impossible times in our lives, be it physical, job related, spiritual, or whatever else. It's a perfect time to grow closer to Christ and let Him work in His perfect time and plan.

** I feel like God has really been testing us a lot lately and I am getting tired.**

Anyway, can you think of a song that you think fits the president to a tee?I don't know why, but the song "Cowboy Take Me Away" by the Dixie Chicks always reminds me of him.

Thanks Mom.

I'm a third-generation dumpster-diver myself. My mother had a bumper sticker that read: "This van stops at all yard sales" I'm proud of my distinguished pedigree.
