President Bush was granted trade promotion authority today by the Senate, and later thanked them for working so hard on this issue. Bush also met with Jordan's King Abdullah and discussed the war on terror, the crisis in Israel, and future actions against Iraq. Although King Abdullah made it clear that an attack on Iraq could lead to unrest in the entire region, Bush made it clear that he would not change his mind regarding a regime change. On the lighter side, Bush signed the Nursing Reinvestment Act of 2002, which will create federal assistance programs for nursing students as well as support a public service campaign encouraging people to become nurses. Lovely words, ohio. Lawgirl...many of us have been through really horrid, trying, and seemingly impossible times in our lives, be it physical, job related, spiritual, or whatever else. It's a perfect time to grow closer to Christ and let Him work in His perfect time and plan.
