A day in the life of President Bush (photos): 8/1/02

President Bush was granted trade promotion authority today by the Senate, and later thanked them for working so hard on this issue. Bush also met with Jordan's King Abdullah and discussed the war on terror, the crisis in Israel, and future actions against Iraq. Although King Abdullah made it clear that an attack on Iraq could lead to unrest in the entire region, Bush made it clear that he would not change his mind regarding a regime change. On the lighter side, Bush signed the Nursing Reinvestment Act of 2002, which will create federal assistance programs for nursing students as well as support a public service campaign encouraging people to become nurses. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

Daschle would sit back and watch us lose the war on terrorism and sacrifice the lives of our soldiers if it meant he would remain the leader of the Senate. As sad as that sounds .. you are 100% correct

Rintense, we missed you! Gret and OhioWfan did a great job, and I bet they are glad to see you too. Hope you had a fun vacation!
Freedom, what a timely Psalm! I read it with a few RATS in mind, and it really fits! Thanks for doing this everynight.
We Bush/Babes/Bots are really fortunate to have so many terrific friends here who do so much for us all!
WE APPRECIATE YOU!

I just take it personally when the liberals, far-right wackos, and psuedo-conservative libertarians baselessly and viciously attack him You know what they sound like .. a nagging mother inlaw that NEVER has anything nice to say

Yep, as soon as I saw that picture I knew it had to go on the Dose. I can't wait for the next issue, it should be a good article as Dubya is good friends with many of the editors at RW.
ohioWfan, it's good to hear about your son. I'm glad he's doing so well. What a kid, huh?
To: ohioWfan
Sounds great. How is your daughter doing?

The worst part is daschle has the blessing of the Press!
Can you imagine if it was George W. Bush who made the statement Daschle did concerning Toricelli? Daschle outright lied about the Ethics Committee's findings on the Toricelli violations of the law and Senate rules. Yet Daschle gets a pass. We are not dealing with a level playiong field, and that's why we cannot rely on our great President's popularity. We have to take the fight to the RATS and be relentless until they are out of power.
The public usually recognizes warrentless persoanl attacks and voice their dislike at the voting booths. I feel this Novemeber will make the 1994 Republican landslide in the House of Represenatives look like a slow moving cold front :-)

Prayers for Eric, for protection against what I know he must face. Prayers that those in the military would not need prayers for protection against the language and sexual jokes.
I love Eric's attitude. I'm sure that will be a big help to get him through his training and glad he finds things to enjoy. I believe most drill instructors would love to train people who enjoy the training!

You still gotta decide whether you are for us or against us." I think secretly he is cheering for Bush to win but can't do to the backlass he'll get back home

Sure! I know, as SuziQ pointed out, that you are all expecting me to say, "orange," but alas, I must follow a theme. (*boring*)
In the living room (on some walls), the hallway to the den, the den, and the upstairs bedrooms hallway, I painted it Behr's "Antique White," which for some reason looks like taupe with a slight green tint to it, on my walls.
In the bedroom, (which is really what you asked about;-) I painted it Behr's "Window Seat" which is a VERY pale yellow with a tint of green to it. It matches the picture leading into the bedroom, and the picture above the bed, which is a painting of a view of being in someone's house and looking out onto the ocean from their patio with those cool roman ballisters and palm trees, and columns. The walls in the painting are the same color as my walls, just a little darker.
In the bathroom, I've chosen "Formal Khaki" which is a pale olive-y green, which match the pillows on our bed.
Everything blends from one room to the next, and all seems to have that same theme to it.
It kind of bugs me though, as the Harvest Gold/Avocado Green themes of yesteryear, keep tapping me on my shoulder as if to say, "See, we WERE a nice color scheme, and you hated us at the time!"
Oh, how I long for a place to paint orange and periwinkle, ...can you say "BEACH HOUSE?" --Maybe some day!

Lawgirl, I am sorry to hear your news about your job. Have faith, hang in there. There is nowhere to go but up, right? Things have to get better now.
I read your posts for over a year before I registered on this website, so you may not know me but I know a bunch about you.
