President Bush was granted trade promotion authority today by the Senate, and later thanked them for working so hard on this issue. Bush also met with Jordan's King Abdullah and discussed the war on terror, the crisis in Israel, and future actions against Iraq. Although King Abdullah made it clear that an attack on Iraq could lead to unrest in the entire region, Bush made it clear that he would not change his mind regarding a regime change. On the lighter side, Bush signed the Nursing Reinvestment Act of 2002, which will create federal assistance programs for nursing students as well as support a public service campaign encouraging people to become nurses. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

QUOTE OF THE DAY: And I'm just as angry as Israel is right now. I'm furious that innocent life is lost. However, through my fury, even though I am mad, I still believe peace is possible. And I will -- and I know that we can improve the conditions of everybody in the region by working toward a vision that is hopeful and optimistic -- and not letting the terrorists destroy the possibility for peace.

I agree with you, Traficant was guilty as sin, and he was guilty the first time around. I like his style and I like his plain talk. But the fact remains ....... he is a crook who violated the law and he got just what he deserved.
YOU STAND YOUR GROUND... Just because he denounces the RATS, that doesn't qualify him for our support.

Thank you. Our president is working hard trying to do his job while Democrats are acting like the creeps they truly are. Daschle and Toricelli need to be voted out of office. Thank God we have the George W and Laura in the White House!!

Welcome back. You were missed, but Gretchen and OhioWFan did an outstanding job while you were gone. They both said The Dose is hard work and we should give you a raise.
