Could they have forseen a consolidation and collusion of a FREE PRESS that would coalesce into a beast with a single voice marching in lockstep with one party? I doubt it, but who can say?

A footnote to my previous post that got lost when I locked up. Most of us probably know quite a few union folks. For the most part they are hard working, keep their noses clean, church going folks. The union leaders and a lying media have turned these people into mushrooms. However, when presented with a sampling of what all of us know, many will depart from the dark side. Some in fact will become quite indignant when they realize they have been and are being duped.

We don't need that many to crossover from the dark side; two to three percent would be a landslide, and just a beginning.

Exactly. Contrary to Landru's earlier posts (sorry), there are some good RATS out there. I personally know a bunch of them. These folks would be ashamed of the activities of McAuliffe, but they likely do not even know who McAuliffe is. These folks can be won over one at a time. We need to work on them individually.

I once asked (rather recently, at that) a very similar question.
I took it a step further, though; suggested that based upon this horrible turn of events, our constitution's First Amendment be amended -- in some way -- to prevent this kind of subversion.

Another poster -- & one I respect btw -- was very stern in his informing me that the media's always been a whore; one who'd go down for a price where smearing pols, parties, anything whatsoever against the publisher's OWN interests, was as old as the nation, itself.

Naturally, I know the man's correct; butttttt; I cannot get past this feeling *something* must be done.
