Aside from the rest of what you said, there is not a civilized person, prolife or whatever, who is not totally horrified by this. This has nothing to do with our morality or the decline of morality. There person who did this is an animal in any circle in this country including the most radical pro abortion what you can find.

Don't worry, I'm sure they're out there, making out the perp to be victim...feeling sorry for him, and pitying him for the home he grew up in. Ooops...you said civilized person...sorry.

This has nothing to do with our morality or the decline of morality.

Hell if it doesn't.

Everything JMJ said was on the money. What limitations do freaks need even to put on themselves when society signals that life is but a commodity? There is a dead and buried word called "deterrence" that we have forgotten. We've ceded to the trial lawyers and ninnies of the world. The bar has been lowered. Significantly. And it's our "advances" in science that highlight the complete lack of control mankind has when left to it's own ignorance.....or defiance... of God's providence.

May God have mercy on our souls. Forgive us,... though we know ... EXPLICITLY...what we fail to do.

Yes and no, cg.

People are not outraged enough by all these child rapes, child abductions, child abuse.

If this happened in the 1930s, a crowd of vigilantes would lynch this person. And that is what SHOULD happen today, were our society healthy.

That's what is lacking today -- total spinelessness and permissiveness in dealing with these sorts of satanical animals.

Which emboldens the hundreds and hundreds out there, silently contemplating a similar crime.

Read Leviticus, then read Colonial American history.

Our children suffer because we are not doing what needs to be done to this sort of animal.

You're deluding yourself.

I agree wholeheartedly with JMJ333.

My father use to say that you can always judge a society by how they value and care for their children and their elderly.

This nation has legalized abortion. The new message for our elderly and their families is the concept of "Death with Dignity".

Life and death should not be viewed as an inconvienence, but for what it is.

The heck it doesn't!!

200 years ago, a freak like this would have been tarred, feathered, and hung (if he was lucky). 100 years ago, he would have been given a fair and decent trial presenting all the evidence before he was hung. 50 years ago, he would have been given a fair and decent trial before either the electric chair, the gas chamber, or the rest of his life rotting in prison. Today? We'll be lucky if this sicko spends 20 years behind bars of some sort before being released and declared normal, while this little one didn't have a chance to grow up normally and may be scarred for life.

Each time society becomes more 'progressive' it is just another code word for blurring the lines between right and wrong, good and evil
