Victoria, your poems are beautiful. And I loved Tender Tinder. I believed every fibre of the fact that it was a solstice, it never crossed my mind that you could have misread the equnox. That's how locked in I am with your great googoly moogoly!* ;^) Thank you kindly, Arne. But our poet Sabertooth wrote those poems. I like them too. So glad you like them as well.
I'd be one of the few guys doing string changes via air! >* Great Googoly moogly: i.e.: Means nothing. I just like how it sounds.
Didn't I tell you, you're cute?

COB, I always could tell when winter was over when the Mesquite trees started blooming. That's how I knew when it was ok to plant tomatoes.
Thank you so much for taking pictures for me. I haven't lived in Ingram since I was 14 but it will always be my HOME. DH doesn't know it yet, but we are retiring in Hunt. Every time I go home there, my heart feels as if it's been ripped out. I ache so bad for it. We would be living there now if there were computer jobs in Kerrville. I miss those German inspired rock houses.

Sob!

Actually, we can get Blue Bell here, thank God. I couldn't live some place if they didn't have Blue Bell. DH had a job opportunity in NJ and I said NO WAY.....no Blue Bell there. ROFL! But what I do miss are the Sonics and Sonic ice.

Well, as Bob Barker has said for years....
Come on down!

"It was an all day affair today." Sounds like my kind of church! We balance each other. I like services quick, prepared and focused. If I want to watch fat women dancing, I'll pull out my old tapes of "Facts of Life" or watch the sequel "Rerun and Shirley: What's Happenin' (Below my waist, I can't see s**t)".

Children were lined up in the cafeteria of a Catholic school for lunch.
At the head of the table was a large pile of apples. The nun made a note that said, "Take only one; God is watching."
Moving through the line, to the other end of the table, was a large pile of chocolate chip cookies.
A boy wrote a note, "Take all you want, God is watching the apples."

For we are not fighting against people made of flesh and blood, but against persons without bodies...the evil rulers of the unseen world, those mighty satanic beings and great evil princes of darkness who rule this world, and against huge numbers of wicked spirits in the spirit world. Ephesians 6:12 TLB

Your daughter is going to be taller than I am. I was pretty tall at that age, but I don't remember how tall.
I'm looking forward to tomorrow's thread. I have kleenex boxes ready and if I need more..there's always Charmin!
To: ClaraSuzanne
There's a little "gristle" in an all day service.
Rerun and Shirley were the last cuts on "Body Shaping".
To: kneezles
Yep! I had a fantastic day!

I think that a service that is moved along by the Holy Spirit is so much more genuine than one that is programmed, words out of a 90 year old prayer book, bells and smells and all that other stuff. I've done both, so I know what I'm talking about. To each his own.
