This morning, President Bush, joined by firefighters and police officers, emergency personnel and local public officials, addressed members of Congress in the Dwight D. Eisenhower Office Buiding at the White House on the subject of the Homeland Security Department, stressing the need for managerial flexibility as a key to it's success. This afternoon in a ceremony in the East Room of the White House, he honored the anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act, calling on Congress to fund his New Freedom Initiative budget requests.
Last night House and Senate negotiators agreed on a bill that would give President Bush fast tracked trade promotion authority, and this afternoon, he made a trip to Capitol Hill to thank them, and to urge House Republicans to back the bill. Enjoy your Daily Dose of Dubya!!

Great post, I couldn't agree more.
I'm a father of one and a grandfather of two and I consider myself a strong person, but I cannot handle seeing innocent children hurt or harmed. My wife cringes when I watch the TV program "Save the Children" because I always call in and send them a check. I religously give to "Disabled American Veterans" and occasionally "Save the Children". I'm a softy for both causes.
When I was a teenager during the VietNam War I would visit my Cousin (who was like a brother to me)at Bethesda Naval Hospitol while he was recovering from injuries he suffered from an enemy land mine in VietNam, I saw so many young men who were permanently disabled and some of them would spend the rest of their lives in wheel chairs or a hospitol bed. It gave me nightmares to see so many horrible injuries. I will continue to support unfortunate children, our troops and our veterans as long as I am able to.

Thank you, both, for the information! TPC, I see that they are trying to present both sides, but IMO there is only one side and they are trying too hard to be PC. Looks like they're protesting too much...
Admiral, I agree with you that it is just another case of "creeping liberalism," and it makes me sad. Good thing we don't drink Dr. Pepper in this house. Wouldn't you just love it if some large corporation would have the nerve, guts, moral fortitude, whatever...to really stand behind a belief in God, and publicize it on all its merchandise? Wow, I'm calling daughter #3, who just started working for PizzaHut Corporation.....

I've also heard good things about HP's photo site:
hp photo.
So far, I've been content to upload images to the 10 Mbytes of web space that my ISP (speakeasy.net) provides. Perhaps your ISP does the same.

Aw, justshe wasn't even close to being banned. In fact, she was far more polite than I was. LOL! They were just a couple of trouble makers. They disappeared when they realized that justshe and I were helping each other. That's just one of the bonuses of being on the Dose.

I don't know if any of you are watching the Tonight Sow, but you should. Bill Cosby is on and talking about receiving his Presidential Medal of Freedom. He said he knew how the President was raised when the President trying to buckle the clasp on his medal and said "Now just hold still", classic. We truly have a great man as president, raised by Great parents.

I can also upload to my server, but I get more space in esmartstart. I was lucky when I signed up they offered 100 MB free space, it is now 20 MB, which is still not bad
