This morning, President Bush, joined by firefighters and police officers, emergency personnel and local public officials, addressed members of Congress in the Dwight D. Eisenhower Office Buiding at the White House on the subject of the Homeland Security Department, stressing the need for managerial flexibility as a key to it's success. This afternoon in a ceremony in the East Room of the White House, he honored the anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act, calling on Congress to fund his New Freedom Initiative budget requests.
Last night House and Senate negotiators agreed on a bill that would give President Bush fast tracked trade promotion authority, and this afternoon, he made a trip to Capitol Hill to thank them, and to urge House Republicans to back the bill. Enjoy your Daily Dose of Dubya!!

Why, THANK YOU!
I don't have a problem with someone disagreeing with some decision that GW might make, but illogical, viscious attacks just for the sake of attacking push my button every time! I would much prefer to have a dialogue about the REASON they disagree, rather than reading that King George is just riding his daddy's coattails and with his low IQ it was a good thing he was such a frat boy or he would have flunked out of Yale. KABOOM!
I'm sure, in time, I will learn who the 'baiters' are and not even waste time. And I'm sure some of the 'baiters' are more than happy to have somebody like me to spar with.
But NOBODY........without damn good reason, attacks MY President! (and there I go ranting again......lol)

Do a search on FR for Dr Pepper. There were a few threads about this a while back. If I remember correctly Dr Pepper said they left the words out due to can space. You can choose to believe them or not.

Maybe someone else will see your request and have the one you're looking for ...... sorry ... :-(
Alert to ALL: Please see samantha's request in #159.

Great letter from congressman Foley. I love his phrase "haven't found the time" when it comes to their lack of coverage. A gentle way of calling them corrupt. I love the way he listed all the news organizations that had covered the story, like the rest of you are behind the curve.

Those people have no shame and we can't seem to force them to feel any. Very frustrating! Oh they just prove our point about thier bias
Because if they were REAL journalist seeking the truth like the claim .. then they would investigate the matter

I saw two days ago on cnsnews a story about a new web site that rates news coverage. It is newsbull.com. I have trouble getting the site to load, but it might be a way of impacting news coverage, eventually. I have no great hopes for the present, but someday something like this should impact the bias of news coverage. This site is looking for input from the public. They beg to be freeped!

"I take it back a step further though, with a belief that it is the theory of evolution.....that we are the product of chance, and are no better than slimy algae, that led to abortion, and to the culture of death we are in now."
I read a commentary somewhere about this. The author was pointing out how different things were in the US before Darwin's theory of evolution became generally accepted. Faith in the Almighty -- THE Almighty -- was profound and widespread. (Here I add my own thoughts.) When people lived close to the soil, having to grow and raise much of their own food, and build their own homes, they understood how much they needed God and His favor to survive. When we clumped massively into cities and left the farming and ranching to others, having a strong transportation network for goods, it gave us the freedom to feel superior to the people tied to the soil, and their dependence on the providence of God, for food. Add to this Darwin's heresy and blasphemy that we weren't created and there is a terrible justification to think we have no need to answer to the Creator. And for those who satisfy themselves that God doesn't exist, why fear the consequences of the most heinous crimes?

I read a good article by Andrew Sullivan tonight that someone posted asking why Rubin is not being questioned. Good question. My guess is they are trying hoping praying to whatever god they bow down to that this can wait till the fall elections are decided, because they know that The Stench Also Rises, it will get smelly enough over there at CitiGroup, etc., that they have to look at it.
Just like they finally had to report on Monica.

I've felt that way about the "baiters" too. But then I think about other people reading their insults to Dubya who might believe them, and I figure I just have to respond. Guess you do, too.
