"In 1999, the Republican Congress impeached President Bill Clinton after a $60 million investigation by Republican Special Prosecutor Ken Starr found no crimes by President Clinton - except consensual sex. This was a crime against Democracy."
"In 2000, George W. Bush and Dick Cheney lost the Presidential election, both nationally and in Florida. But five Republican "justices" on the U.S. Supreme Court declared Bush the winner by throwing out 175,000 uncounted Florida votes. This was a crime against Democracy."
"George W. Bush and Dick Cheney have illegally occupied the White House since January 20, 2001. In that short time, here's what they have done with the help of the Republican Congress:"
"Announced plans to invade Iraq with 250,000 troops, without Congressional authorization or debate Threatened seven nations with nuclear war Promised America "perpetual war" Let Osama Bin Laden escape from Afghanistan Failed to catch the US weapons scientist responsible for the Anthrax terrorist attacks Attemped military coup d'etat to overthrow populist Venezuelan president Unaffordable tax cuts for corporations and the rich Returned to massive budget deficits by cutting taxes for the rich Raided Social Security despite firm promises Cut health care despite firm promises Made global warming worse by opposing conservation and promoting oil drilling Undermined efforts to protect clean air, water, and national parks Sabotaged key environmental and arms control treaties Helped Enron steal billions from California consumers Secret Energy Task Force Established an unconstitutional shadow government without notifying any Democrats Cabinet of millionaires Iran-contra criminals rehired Detention without charges Surveillance without warrants Right-wing judges Restrictions on abortion Had enough? So have we!
That's why we are calling for the impeachment of:
George W. Bush and Dick Cheney The Republican Congress The Supreme Court 5 Is that impossible? No! Read the Constitution:
Article I Section 2: The House of Representatives shall chuse their Speaker and other Officers; and shall have the sole Power of Impeachment.
Article I Section 3: The Senate shall have the sole Power to try all Impeachments.
Article II Section 4: The President, Vice President and all civil Officers of the United States, shall be removed from Office on Impeachment for, and Conviction of, Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors.
Article III Section 1: The Judges, both of the supreme and inferior Courts, shall hold their Offices during good Behaviour
Here is our plan:
Step 1: We, the People, will draft the Articles of Impeachment.
Step 2: We, the People, will elect a Democratic Congress in November 2002 with instructions to impeach the President, Vice President, and Supreme Court Justices.
We have the most powerful political weapon in our own hands - the power to vote. (If you are not registered to vote, click here.)
We can use our voting power to win the next election in a landslide and defeat all Republicans.
To succeed, we must use the Internet to mobilize a get-out-the-vote effort on a scale never seen before.
Join us by creating your own e-mail list of Democratic voters. Start with your holiday card list, and add your relatives, neighbors, and colleagues.
We will create tools to help you maintain your list and to persuade everyone on your list to vote for Democrats.
We will also help you connect with fellow Democrats in your area to plan local outreach efforts, such as setting up card tables at supermarkets, libraries and schools.
If we can persuade 100,000 activists to each create a list of 100 voters, we will win the next election in a landslide.

""Democrats.com" blaah!"
While we generally don't give their propaganda the light of day, given that this very thing was being discussed on Rush today and given that it seems the Democrats might actually be thinking of giving this a try, we are going to let this one go. Thanks, AM
Actually it might be interesting to compare the clintoon cool-aid that these bozo's are drinking to any other mind altering substance.
Good to know the democrats respect archaic language in the Constitution but not, of course, in the King James Bible.
"In 2000, George W. Bush and Dick Cheney lost the Presidential election, both nationally and in Florida. But five Republican "justices" on the U.S. Supreme Court declared Bush the winner by throwing out 175,000 uncounted Florida votes. This was a crime against Democracy."Which way do these morons want it? First they insist that Bush lost. Of course, they neglect the Electoral College and the fact that we do not elect our leaders by popular vote."George W. Bush and Dick Cheney have illegally occupied the White House since January 20, 2001. In that short time, here's what they have done with the help of the Republican Congress:" "Announced plans to invade Iraq with 250,000 troops, without Congressional authorization or debate Threatened seven nations with nuclear war Promised America "perpetual war" Let Osama Bin Laden escape from Afghanistan Failed to catch the US weapons scientist responsible for the Anthrax terrorist attacks Attemped military coup d'etat to overthrow populist Venezuelan president Unaffordable tax cuts for corporations and the rich Returned to massive budget deficits by cutting taxes for the rich Raided Social Security despite firm promises Cut health care despite firm promises Made global warming worse by opposing conservation and promoting oil drilling Undermined efforts to protect clean air, water, and national parks Sabotaged key environmental and arms control treaties Helped Enron steal billions from California consumers Secret Energy Task Force Established an unconstitutional shadow government without notifying any Democrats Cabinet of millionaires Iran-contra criminals rehired Detention without charges Surveillance without warrants Right-wing judges Restrictions on abortion Had enough? Then they make the assertion that Bush has "illegally occupied the White House" -- President Bush has not broken any laws; he was elected president through the standard electoral process.
Then they attack the Supreme Court; once again, because they were unable to get their way, they insist that what the court did was illegal, but once again, they neglect to point out what the court did that was so illegal nor what laws were broken by SCOTUS.
Then they jump on policies undertaken since Bush's election. They insist that plans have been announced to invade Iraq with a quarter of a million troops. Will someone please tell me where these plans are, and when and where they were announced?
Then they claim seven nations were threatened with nuclear war. Once again, show me a threat - I've not seen one. Have you? I'm sure that if we did threaten anyone with nuclear war that the UN would have done quite a bit to denounce those threats, but I've heard not a peep out of the Security Council about a US nuclear threat.
Then they say that we "let Osama bin Laden escape from Afghanistan." First off, we do not know if Osama is alive or dead, and secondly, would it matter, considering that the terrorism war is supposed to be "illegal?"
Then they point to other nebulous items that the President is supposed to have done/not done over the remaining timeframe of his tenure to date. Will you make up your minds? Do you want him to be president or not? Do you want him to do the job or not? Do you want him gone?
My God - this is the most schizophrenic message I've seen from a group of Democrats since the Carter era.
Bottom line - Bush won. Bush has led the country well since taking office. Bush has kept a cool head under the pressure we've all been under since last September. The war is proceeding well. And now that the economy is finally starting to try to stablize itself, you want to blame that on the president as well. (never mind that the seeds were sown not by the Administration, but by the dot coms over the last eight years or so - what do you expect when Wall Street gives money to companies to sell ice cubes on the internet?) May I presume that the upcoming baseball players' strike will be the fault of the administration as well?
Get over it, and move on. The rest of the country has.
The disconnect on the regime of the "Former Occupant of the Oval Office, 1993-2001" is that HIS crime was "only about sex" when it was vastly more involved and far-reaching, and scarcely a tip of the iceberg was ever revealed. The kindest thing that may be said of that blot on history is that the individuals in charge were woefully incompetent, and more likely were involved in carrying out an agenda that was at 90° cross purposes with the best interests of the United States (if not 180° opposed). Feeble antagonists in the world scene were greatly strengthened, to the point where an unlikely threat became a ravening monster. Real reform was bottled up, or permitted at such a reduced rate as to be nearly useless. A blind eye was turned on any number of activities, which if not illegal, certainly bent the letter and spirit of the law. And this is Bush's and Cheney's fault separately and collectively?
Actually, I would imagine the only possible comparison to the effects of Clintoon Kool-Aid would be that scene in Starship Troopers where the Brain Bug sucks out the guy's brains. But with Clinton-Aid, the victims stay alive and start their own website...
It is theoretically impossible for a number this small to actually exist, even when you consider their IQs.
