I can't believe the people on this thread who are defending this moronic, insane, egomaniacal nutcase.

The notion that Jim Traficant is somehow being singled out because he has spoken out for the "little guy" against a corrupt government is ludicrous.

Traficant is nothing more than a sad con artist. No amount of conspiracy theories or gnashing of teeth about the evils of big government change that one salient fact.

To be honest I dont know if he is guilty or not but one thing I agree with him on and I have had it happen.An X-FBI agent lied through his teeth in an investigation I was involved in and can swear to it anywhere anytime.
I really like the way most of them have a so called conscience and would like to know where it was during the Clinton ordeal.It should show you how important it is to make friends and influence enemies in Congress.Old Trafficant will bite the bullet tonight.
It also amazes me that they call him down for using the word Damn,where the hell are all of these suckers hanging out.This is almost funny and all the while there are very few in that bunch that have not done at least as bad as old Jim.
I wouldnt have much of a problem in believing he were set up if what he is telling now is the truth.

I was watching Traficant while I was cooking dinner. He's desparate. I think he's the only crook I've ever felt sorry for!

Now, he's saying he was targeted because he brought John Demjanjuk home. What he leaves out, of course, is that Demjanjuk WAS a guard, not in the camp he was convicted of being in, but in another!

Traficant's neck was in the noose tonight, and he snapped it himself!

Shut your mouth.... It's not sad at all. The man is a disgrace. I haven't liked him since he went on with Rush and promised to vote to impeach Clinton and then didn't. Until then, I just thought he was an amusing eccentric.
