Who is that one present vote?

Probably Ron Paul. He votes "present" on a lot of stuff.

I understand DOJ's Office of Special Investigations was under pressure from the House and in particular from Rep. Joshua Eilberg to win a high-profile case. They had just been humiliated by an acquittal. If sinkspur is right that Demjanjuk was a guard at Sobibor, he could have been stripped of his citizenship and deported on that basis too (as is now happening,) but convicting Ivan the Terrible would get so much more publicity, and satisfy people like Eilberg so much more.

What's disturbing is that the prosecutors didn't stop to consider the down side, if their misdeeds were found out (as eventually they were.) They seem to have been confident that they would not be found out.

What about all the checks they wrote and bounced.

The check scandal,

most of them were innnvolved in it.

They broke the law, they should be exspelled.

Did you see the guy on Fox News Hannity and Combs last night who was telling how Trafficant was wrongly charged at least on count 3 and that he was not allowed to testify to what actually had happened?
