Prayers for my brother Leo who has cancer.

This all happened a week ago sunday. He had a mole on his back and he now has melanoma. He has had 2 surgeries and will have another one next week. The lst time I posted for prayers for someone I never got back with an update and felt guitly for not doing so ever since. I apologize for that. He is a good Catholic and feels he can beat this. Please put him on your prayer chains and I will keep you updated. His name is Leo Buggy. Thank you.

Have you ever heard of St. Francis' blessing for Brother Leo? In September 1224, St. Francis of Assisi wrote:
"May the Lord bless you and keep you,
Show you His face, and be merciful to you,
Turn upon you the light of His face, and give you peace
May the Lord bless you, O Brother Leo."
This handwritten script is preserved in the Basilica of St. Francis in Assisi, Italy.

Prayers for him! This type of cancer is very dangerous, but it is also very unpredictable. I recall reading that it had one of the highest rates of spontaneous (or at least, inexplicable) remission. Many prayers for him!
