My computer gave me no alerts, not my lap top nor my other computer. That does not mean it did not happen as my TRUSTED friends here at FR have posted they saw it like you did. However ,your presentation of what you noticed was to say the least offensive. I visit hundreds of web sites weekly because of doing the threads for the Canteen. So perhaps over the last 9 months of having the Canteen at FR I may have either been cleared long ago or whatever.I have no idea.
I cannot answer the how or why there is an alert as you say. So let's move on Greybird shall we to what I am able to answer you.
For an 8th grader to say to Kill Osama I find it has passion and is supportive of what this war is about. It is more sad then offensive to me that ANY child has to feel fear from anyone to even be put in a position of such hate. But it has happened and this child is directing his hate of Osama in support of our troops.I am not offended by what this child said at all. I did not have to post it, but I did, because I saw a child with such determination of the cause of this war. A child that is not going to grow up to be a touchie feeling liberal , but one that sees the enemy for what it is. Pure EVIL!Should children be sent out of the room when our President speaks of the face of evil? I think not, children see things clearly, more then adults many times.Ask the children of Israel what the face of evil looks like, or the children of 911, the WTC, Flight 93 and the Pentagon.
As far your comments of where the USO Canteen FReeper Style thread belongs. I have followed Jim Robinson's instructions to me from day one. We are listed exactly where he wants us and will continue as long as he wants us here.
FR has a tremendous amount of Veterans, from many wars our country has been involved in. WW11 right up to the war we are in now.The Canteen fills an overwhelming need , it has been said countless times that it has completed what FR has been over the years.A void that was not filled for so many FReepers that are loyal to FR and to Jim Robinson and just needed the Canteen to make FR complete to them.
As far as how the Canteen is run, the opening and the intro to each thread........well as Big Daddy said , it does not hurt to ask.It is more then obvious you have not seen many threads of the USO Canteen FReeper Style.Or you would have seen the thread about Chesty Puller, Audi Murphy,Air National Guard, Disabled Veterans,Choppers, our Military Chaplains,101st AirBorne,Submarines, Jag,Military Bands, 82nd Airborne, Gunnery Mates,Aviation Ordnance,U.S. Fighter Planes, and countless others. PLUS a thread dedicated to honoring our very own, wonderful Jim Robinson.Without him not only would the Canteen not be here for the Freepers that are Veterans but it would not be here for our troops and their families. And I would lay money down that George W. Bush might not even be President if it were not for the hard work of many FReepers.
The USO Canteen FReeper Style is a first at FR and God willing it will continue as long as the founder of FR, Jim Robinson wants it here.
So I have answered your post as best I can. I suggest Greybird, you use the P.O.Box that 68-69TonkinGulfYatchClub provides each day and write a few letters to our troops. Thank them for being in a place you might not like. Thank them for their sacrifices of being away from home and loved ones so that YOU can live in a free land. And then pray for them, to be safe and yes to get the evil ones that have hate as their air in their lungs and blood in their veins for Americans.
Thank God everyday for our military and our Veterans.......heroes ALL.
Ever so sorry if I ruined your day Greybird, Bless your heart.

How are you doing today? Did your camp meetings go well last week? I accepted the Lord as my Savior at an Evangelist Meeting. I was 10 years old and I will never forget the feeling that I had as I made that decision. Now, I have been anything but perfect since that day and it has been a roller coaster as far as my commitment goes. But, I know that He is ALWAYS working on me and helping me to grow daily. Sometimes (a lot of times) I stumble, but He is always faithful to pick me up and help me through. Without Him I would be nothing.
Anyway, sermon over. Thank you for being here and listening. (((HUG)))
