I thought as you and the critics about Oneil. Then I listened to him and Evans on a question/answer session with an audience in MSNBC show. Both were very sharp and very reassuring about the economy. Oneil knows what he is saying--problem is that congress, especially Byrd get annoyed with him b/c he tells them what he thinks--no diplomacy or being nice to these guys. So, you know, their feelings get hurt. BWAAAAA!!! And then the media picks this up and blasts Oneill. Again, what is he to do about the market--go buy up the stock himself? It is up to the investor and its confidence that the crooks will be doing chain gang time.

Have you noticed how very weird Susan is looking?

I mean she always looked weird, but now she is all brown and wizened looking. Hasn't she heard about the sun drying out one's skin and causing cancer? Guess not.

I don't really remember what Clinton did when Congress was in recess in the way of vacation

Clinton use to spend a few weeks up with the Kennedy's ..

Then there was that dancing on the beach photo op

or then there was that time he took Chelsea sight seeing .. which the one trip to india that cost the taxpayers something like 50 MILLION dollars

Just think of all the money Bush is saving by going home to Crawford for a couple of weeks

Ok, but we are not talking about Africa here, I don't care for Africa one way or the other, Africa is not going to help Bush politically. As far as Wall Street concerns, O'Neil just doesn't cut it, he needs to go for the sake of Bush's reputation.

That mean Barbara Boxer was after SEcreraty White last week and Dorgan asked if White would donate his monies earned. White said no b/c they were not ill gotten

Honestly, the congress is crying about the poor people without their retirment and I personally think that a good gesture would have been for those very rich congressman to give up those automatic raises and put in a plan to help out the needy.

Sorry, guys, but when I see this-I scream, time for term limits.

Bush's numbers last year were not bad when he took off for Crawford .. they were in the 60's

And the Press and the Liberals complained up a storm last year just like they are doing know

Once this is over they will find something else to complain about .. they always do

Don't you remember? hillary and chelsea went on world wide trips on every school break. They managed to go to every continent except Antarctica. We spent bunches of money on those trips. Asia, Africa, Bosnia, etc. And then there was the bill and hill trip to the Great Wall of China where we spent $50,000 for a porta-potty for hill :-)

Sorry to disagree with you, he's not reassuring, he's dollar policy is rattling Wall Street and his straight talking style is making alot of us nerves. I've seen investment banking backlog fall into bits and pieces, we keep hoping he's going to make the right move and he's not, until he changes his direction, the market will keep sliding.

And if I recall .. Barbie Boxer has a nice stock portfolio herself .. maybe we should inquire about that??

I also recall Barbie complaining last year about Cheney and his Halliburn (sp?) stock .. and gee who just happen to own the SAME stock .. that's right .. little Barbie Boxer

Am watching Cspan hoping to see the pres but instead there's Clinton and some guy Wendell Anthony from NAACP introducing Clinton as the true president. Now Clinton is bragging about his economy and the surplus. He really gets me angry.

I think Susan could use some estrogen. She's hit that age where all her past sins are showing on her face.

CSpan needs to get over it. Constantly airing the irrelevant comments made by the impeached one is a sign of their denial.

Africa is not going to help Bush politically.

Oh, yes it is! 20+% of our voters are Black. And we have never done anything to help Africa. A perception that we are finally doing something to help the continent will get him at least some of those votes.

The President does not control Wall Street and what is going on and it doesn't matter whether he is in DC, Crawford or on the moon

This is a bubble we all knew was due to burst .. but IMHO once we get pass this .. I think the markets will be even stronger

What's the deal with cspan anyway?

I thought they were started to be a non-biased public service station to show house and senate activity and also show general political interest stuff.

Does anyone know who owns the station? I absolutely cannot watch it when they have call ins. They must rig their calls; there cannot be that many ignorant and incredibly biased people in the world. At least I hope not.

WHEN are we going?

I always thought the best time for a Bush Babe/Buck rendezvous would be January 20, 2005. We can go to W's reinauguration. Wouldn't that be grand?
