I thought as you and the critics about Oneil. Then I listened to him and Evans on a question/answer session with an audience in MSNBC show. Both were very sharp and very reassuring about the economy. Oneil knows what he is saying--problem is that congress, especially Byrd get annoyed with him b/c he tells them what he thinks--no diplomacy or being nice to these guys. So, you know, their feelings get hurt. BWAAAAA!!! And then the media picks this up and blasts Oneill. Again, what is he to do about the market--go buy up the stock himself? It is up to the investor and its confidence that the crooks will be doing chain gang time.

Sorry to disagree with you, he's not reassuring, he's dollar policy is rattling Wall Street and his straight talking style is making alot of us nerves. I've seen investment banking backlog fall into bits and pieces, we keep hoping he's going to make the right move and he's not, until he changes his direction, the market will keep sliding.
