Late Summer of 2003 (Aug or Sept), Serbian Duathlete/Cyclist, SrpskaVatra intends to cycle to each capital Republic of the Former Yugoslavia, with the finish proposed at either Mitrovica or Kosovo Polje, Kosovo, Serbia.
Reason of this journey is to promote the goodwill imposed onto this region by NATO, as this will demonstrate and highlight their effectiveness as humanitarion warriors. This demonstration of a humanitarian gesture from an American-born Serb cyclist/duathlete will have a daily internet-posted journal with Dig. pictures of this journey.
Sponsors will be sought, as those funds will be applied directly to the leading Serbian Priest of the capital. The money will be given to the local orphanage and to other areas deemed needy for the Serbian people. I will be working closely with a few select Serbian Churches here in the USA/Canada as well as in Yugo-region.

The finale into Mitrovica is symbolic, as the finale is being considered for Kosovo Polje/Blackbird as the true desire.

What do others feel about this journey, is it for waste or positive light?
As I stated in the post above, I will have a website or website link available shortly. Have not decided whether to purchase the domain name and have it posted seperately, or have one directly off my current site. I prefer to seperate the two as I do not mix politics/opinions with Sports. That is one area I believe racism/ethnic/political/religion is set aside....:)

You should probably try to get in contact with cycling organizations and clubs in the respective regions/countries/towns. They would have maps and advice on biking conditions, biking trails, scenic routes, bike repair shops, etc. Maybe members of some of those clubs or local bikers would join you on certain parts of your journey?
