Update from OC Sheriff... Press conference..
Playing 911 tape of the people that found the body, male caller was extremely upset, and scared, he was crying, and telling 911 the location but the cell phone transmission was breaking up and was disconnected.
They called the telephone number he left before the disconnect and they called his home and got a messege machine. He called back within minutes and made contact again with 911 and was almost hysterical and crying saying it was little girl and was very distraught,
When Cell caller got home he called again from home phone and recontacted 911, 911 said they would pick him up and the he could show him where the body was.
End of 911 tape
Press conference continues, stating over 2000 citizens have given leads......
Another press conference at 6 PM
At 955 AM they made an arrest alihondro avial DOB 3-1375
did I miss something? From what I have watched/heard during the trial, there was no mention of "blood all over" anything. I can think of one very small droplet of something that contained DNA....
Although I like that kitty litter box comment, it was funny, I honestly got a laugh out of it. I just might incorporate it when ever I post now. :)
LOL! I don't mean to laugh, but that exact thing happened when a Social Studies teacher was using the computer lab at the high school where I work as a tech.
He was having the kids do a comparison of the differant political parties and WWW.Whitehouse.gov was one of the links he had givin the students. Well, since most of them always hear .com you know what happened!
I was listening to KFI this afternoon & John & Ken had some interesting info.
They mentioned that Avila's father shot & killed his neighbor (named Whiteman, if I remember correctly) in 1992. He got manslaughter & when he got out of jail, skipped probation & law enforcement believe him to be in Mexico. U believe they also mentioned Avila's brother has been in trouble.
They also mentioned they could only trace the Avilas as being in America back to 1988. They have lived in several locations in the SoCal area.
They called somone who knew Avila in high school. This guy hadn't seen the news yet, but his first recollection of Avila was that he was obsessed w/ sex, but not really into girls.
They also talked to some of Avila's co-workers who said he often made strange sexual references to women around work.
Well, personally, I would like some FReepers w/ more time & resources, than I, to pursue the illegal alien angle. Somehow I don't think the media, especially the LA Times will be looking in to this.
Question, why can't this be brought out since it was already introduced in court? IE. In PH one of the two attorneys asked BVD about the phone tap and the phone call. She was not allowed to answer. This is an important peice of evidence in DW's defense.
He was in jail and someone allegedly called and had info. on where the body was. If the prosecution has this info. and they are withholding it is that a usual thing?
I just don't know....Feldman has to have the info or he wouldn't have asked the question, I would imagine......getting it properly asked within scope may be the reason.
Maybe he has to call the officer or person who took the tip??
Maybe an attorney will post an answer for us.
I went back and looked at who you were responding to. Here is the posts.

And people look at me odd when I tell them you couldn't PAY ME to live in California... But you must understand, I grew up there between 1983 - 1989. I remember when it was a small nice town, I even remember when they put the first stop light in, but from that moment on it all went downhill, and downhill fast. I've visited twice since then with no intentions of ever going back, and what I saw those last two times was nothing good.

It seems that you weren't really responding to anyone's remark or statement. Very curious. Someone was asking for a link to a 911 telephone call and you respond with "no one could pay you to live in Cal" Interesting..... What in their post prompted that?
The reason I ask, is that it appeared that you were bent on turning this into an "attack the entire state" thread. It seems others felt that way to.
This was a thread about the capture of a very dangerous individual. Not a rant about why you are jealous or hate California, which you continued to do. That's why a few of us got pissed.
...that his son very well could have downloaded...
I asked you for a source on the green card allegation but you didn't offer it.
In addition, I thought he was acquitted on molestation charges, not found 'not guilty' or 'not innocent'.
