President Bush and First Lady Laura welcome Polish President Aleksander Kwasniewski and his wife, Jolanta, to only the second State visit since Bush was sworn in. Bush and his colleague also answered a round of questions from reporters, including more questions to the President regarding his tenure at Harkin oil. The President and his guests attended the State dinner this evening. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

There always has to be one that hangs on. This story has fallen back quite a bit.

What's up with not being able to see the State Dinner on C-span? I see they're going to show footage of it around 11:30pm ET, but it seemed as if they always made a fuss for Clintoon dinners and were there live and had call ins, etc. Wish they'd actually show more with President Bush, but it's C-span and they are really showing bias against Bush especially lately.

The reporters are still asking about Harkin????
Yep, because they have an agenda, don't ya know. Keep it in the news every day and a lot of uninformed people will start to believe there has to be some underhanded thing going on with the president and those nasty corporations. They have to carry the dems water.

From the sounds of things on Special Report, there's not much to Haliburton either.
Did you see the quote from Chris Matthews, though?! He was talking about Bush being in bed with big corporations. It was disgusting.
I hate the media.

Lovely photos rintense and thanks for the ping. Laura's legs are so much prettier than the previous other First Lady person, thing...whatever she was.
I think Laura is beautiful, but this might be the first time a visiting First Lady looks better than she does. Gotta give credit where it's due. I still love ya, Laura.

Good evening, Rintense. The Polish President seems to have excellent manners and knows a lady when he sees one. Can you picture any foreign head of state wanting to kiss the beast's hand?

Saw the press conference today. A warm statement by our W and then one from the Pres of Poland. And of course, the slimy, despicable reporter must have his FIRST question be about Harken and VP Cheney. I thought our W looked a bit peeved, but he is so gracious, he answered the question saying that he thought Vice Pres Cheney was a very good (paraphrasing) businessman and would make a very good VP and he was happy with his decision. Then he said that under the Freedom of Info Act anyone could look into his dealings with Harken and he was SURE that "some of you" had probably seen the info. He reiterated what he said about the economy and what Greenspan had said about it.
I just have come to LOATHE the press so much. They just want to take our W down, no matter what the cost to the country. So much for an unbiased press, serving the good of the people.
Sorry for the rant. Rant off >/

Ohio, I saw Matthew's quote on Special Report. It was a multiple choice question, and none of his choices allowed for any possibility things were above board. I hate Chrissy.

I've never seen so many of Bush's appearances not shown or reshown on either channel of C-Span. Also on their archives they're usually a day behind. Very frustrating, but anything going on with DNC issues they are replayed over and over.

You know, I love Laura, but that turquoise bow/belt doesn't get it.
