What's up with not being able to see the State Dinner on C-span? I see they're going to show footage of it around 11:30pm ET, but it seemed as if they always made a fuss for Clintoon dinners and were there live and had call ins, etc. Wish they'd actually show more with President Bush, but it's C-span and they are really showing bias against Bush especially lately.

heck, I did not even know there was going to be a state dinner until a day or so ago. Media too busy on corporate corruption crap.

I've never seen so many of Bush's appearances not shown or reshown on either channel of C-Span. Also on their archives they're usually a day behind. Very frustrating, but anything going on with DNC issues they are replayed over and over.

C-SPAN actually took a hard turn to the Left shortly after the Republicans gained control of the House in 1994. When that Congress was sworn in during Jan. 1995, C-SPAN began its awful segregation of callers by political party an outright invitation for callers to lie.
I don't know why they bother with political party ID, anyway, since theyr moderators usually identify callers by where they are calling from. So there's no way for an interested viewer to track how balanced they are in letting callers on from all three lines.
C-SPAN also bought a radio station in the D.C. area so they could "reach out" more to minorities. That moved them ever further down the road of political correctness. They abandoned two-guest formats for their call-in shows. And, on top of all that, they have frequent call-ins with no guest at all, and their moderator is not allowed to respond to what callers say. So their call-ins usually become Left-wing feeding frenzies these days.
When you throw into the mix all the obscure, mostly Left-wing events they cover in the D.C. area, they now tilt so heavily Left I'm surprised their building isn't tilted like the Leaning Tower of Pisa! They have become very nearly useless in my opinion.
