President Bush submitted a formal outline for the proposed cabinet-level department of Homeland Security today in a brief ceremony outside the White House. Bush, joined by Vice President Cheney and members of Congress, called on both parties to work together to ensure that the future of America is safer than it was before September 11th. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

I just wanted everyone who has wished a Happy Birthday to AF_Blue know that I just heard from a mutual friend that he just got back from vacation today and is "out of commission". I am sure he will let us know soon how he spent his birthday soon. Sounds like he had a really, really good time, no? LOL!

For your use ..... and that of anyone else who wants it ..... when referring to either Klayman or another ambulance chaser ..... especially appropriate when talking about the sinator from NC who has presidential aspirations ......
.
Our business got the Klayman letter yesterday ..... UGH! My intention is to send back all the junk that was in the envelope and as much else as I can stuff in there to make it as heavy as possible ..... with a little "love note" ..... after all, he did enclose a postage paid reply envelope ...... hehe!

The RATS would stand by and watch the economy crash
Heck - they're pushing it over the edge as hard as they can.

Lieberman would be a grease spot in the parking lot, if I were in charge. To which I reply, quoting Tolkien in The Two Towers, "[A guard] went to the well at the foot of the terrace and in his helm[et] drew water. With it he washed clean the stones that Wortongue had defiled."
I would be that guard.

Speaking of a great idea. I just got my W2004 sweatshirt from the gopshoppe.com. Click on the left side of the elephant, then W2004 category on the left. My navy sweatshirt with W2004 on it was only $15.00! I got hubby a navy t-shirt for $10. I think the white t was only $8 but I'm not sure.

When it rains it really pours around your house, doesn't it? You take care!
Btw, ice is excellent to use on a burn ..... keep applying ice until the burning quits .... but don't do it constantly or you'll end up with "freezer burn" on top of the other burns ..... a few minutes on and then a few minutes off.
When my daughter was an infant, I burned my hand badly (a big blob of 375 degree grease popped on it while I was frying chicken .... several tablespoons worth landed right on the palm of my hand) .... my hubby was leaving town the next day for two weeks ...... I was frantic with worry about how to care for the baby. I kept my hand in a bowl of ice water all afternoon .... and it never even blistered.

He could start by simply relieving himself on Mr. L, as far as I'm concerned...and that would be VERY telling!

That, and little Tommy's big ego. I must find that picture of Daschle standing on the step stool in front of the press.
To: Utah Girl
I stand corrected. I forgot about his ego.
