Train Derails In Fiery Crash

Emergency crews are at the scene of a fiery train derailment north of Slinger in Washington County.

Smoke can be seen from about 20 miles away, witnesses said.

The Wisconsin Central Freight train derailed and caught fire off of Highway 41.

It's being reported that no one was hurt in the crash; however, a HazMat team from Milwaukee has been called to the site.

There's no word yet on exactly what the train was carrying.

Fire crews that would normally be called to the scene are still helping battle the fire at the Quad/Graphics printing plant in Lomira.

WISN and The Milwaukee Channel will have more information as it become available.

Another PENNY on the track...it has been alleged that a roaming band of slacked jawed sloped head bandits have been laying small coinage on the tracks all across America - they hope to carve out a "Micky Mouse Outline" across the country side!!!

It was in Slinger wisconsin.. I saw the one in Lomira i heard it too i lived only two miles from it.. All you heard was it sounded like a damn cannon firing.. I went down there and all i can saw is wow.. I mean the Kondex Coorperation at a giant hole in it Trains where backed up for miles that day.. and cars where laying everywhere.. Then ironically a few weeks later two cars jumped the tracks in lomira again.. about a half mile from where the first train derailed... Wow what is going on with Canadian National these days
