Is this an old screen grab or did they do it again?

That's the old one. About three months ago, perhaps?
Unforgivable, but old.

It happenend a few months ago. Mr. Innis is a class act and never made an issue of it.
To: Raymond Hendrix
They did it AGAIN, or are you just now finding last year's screwup?
(Niger Innis says this happens a lot, btw)
To: hellinahandcart
I don't know the date. It is probably an old shot.
To: Raymond Hendrix
No doubt they wanted to put "House" in front of the slur but decided that would be too obvious.
To: Raymond Hendrix
It's not a good idea to scream "racism!" before getting the
basic details of the incident.
To: gridlock
Well, if it keeps getting posted, MSNBC will never be able to live it down that Niger is a class act and they're not.

Niger handled it well, deflecting it with humor. What a class act.

They've done this before and I can predict it will happen again and again.

I couldn't find the thread that was put up immediately after it happened (the title isn't under "Niger Innis" or "MSNBC", maybe I'll try again with "N-Word"), but it was hilarious. Greg Jarrett supposedly had a cow and fell all over hmself apologizing.
To: Raymond Hendrix
The shock to Republicans is that they mispelled his name. The shock for Dems is that he is Republican.

That is why I posted this under the 'humor' section. It was sarcasm.
To: hellinahandcart
I vaguely remember it--and Jarrett was wildly apologetic (and borderline apoplectic), if I remember correctly. The more he apologized, the funnier it got, especially because Niger handled it so well.

Looks like an honest mistake to me.
You really have to wonder why a black couple would name their son "Niger." Can you imagine the crap that kid must have had to put up with in grade school? Kinda like the Johnny Cash's boy named Sue.
To: gridlock
Yep! Is is old.
But I'd bet you a thousand clams that if Fox News made this mistake that we'd hear about it for the next five years.
Maybe then Jesse Jackson would finally show up on O'Reilly's show....NAAAAAA!
To: Raymond Hendrix
I laughed for about a minute straight. I find this stuff hilarious, I'm going to have to forward this to a few people. Apologies to all that's just my odd sense of humor.
