pesto, I don't know if the Lord pays much attention to prayers from sinners like me, but that hasn't stopped me yet. Tell Basil that we need her here, so get better! NOW!

I talked to basil on the phone twice this afternoon and she sounds great! The first call we had to cut short because a doctor came in to check her stomach. She swallowed a lot of blood from the heavy bleeding of her broken nose.

Just got off the phone for the second time, and Gracey was there at the hospital visiting basil. basil said that Gracey brought her some red, white, and blue balloons. basil sounds real good, maybe just a little tired. She was laughing and carrying on just like the basil we all know and love. Her main doctor has not been around today, so she doesn't know when she will be going home.

Please tell Basil that our love and prayers are definitely being sent! She has been a wonderful friend over the years, although we fell out of touch shortly before the birth of my daughter. Your Mom is a fabulous person and I admire her greatly.

As big as your Mom's heart is, it is a little tender right now, and needs some T.L.C. I hope she 'easy does it' for awhile and follows orders. The 'dos and don'ts and our continuing prayers should get her back on track.

It will be a joy to see her first post on FR!
