I talked to basil on the phone twice this afternoon and she sounds great! The first call we had to cut short because a doctor came in to check her stomach. She swallowed a lot of blood from the heavy bleeding of her broken nose.

Just got off the phone for the second time, and Gracey was there at the hospital visiting basil. basil said that Gracey brought her some red, white, and blue balloons. basil sounds real good, maybe just a little tired. She was laughing and carrying on just like the basil we all know and love. Her main doctor has not been around today, so she doesn't know when she will be going home.

Thanks for the update on Basil! Gracey, thanks for making your delivery from the HOT Chapter Freepers! BASIL - glad to hear you are doing better. Get home soon so you can get some rest. Those hospitals don't let you get an ounce of sleep you know.
