Democracy always leads to socialism( im sure you have read the Alexander Tyler quote ) for capitalism and freedom to live Democracy must die. It used to be only male property owners could vote but later in our history the franchise was extended to the mob and finally and disastourously to women. As long as people on the dole can vote we will slide further into socialism.
