This is an unofficial quick and dirty presidential poll. Apparently, there is a good sized contingent on Free Republic that believes that President Bush is:
Please list the numbers that best match the reasons you don't like Bush (or state other reasons if not on the list) and state whether you believe that President Bush should be defeated even if it means installing a Democrat in the Whitehouse.
Conversely, if you believe President Bush should be re-elected, please state why.
Please state who you would like to see win the Presidency in 2004 and whether or not you believe he/she has a chance of winning.
Thanks,
Jim
Quit threatening to leave the GOP, just do it already! The tortured laments around here are getting to be annoying beyond measurement. But ... not a single one of you has the balls to organize and strategize even the simplest third party political campaign. All this bluster and bravado around this joint until something needs to be done by somebody ... else. Whimper and whine.
How are you going to get around the 80% plus of the usual Republican representation in the Republican nominating process who are pro-life?

Scr*w you. You liberals are the minority in the GOP. You leave.
That's ridiculous. I voted for George Bush because:
A: He's better than Algore.
B: He's not as bad as Algore.
C: He's not as scary as Algore.
D: Algore is the son of Satan.
E: If Algore had been elected there would have been civil war. (I know this for a fact because I would have fired the first shot unless someone had beaten me to it and the number of people who were locked and loaded to do so was staggering.)
They're looking for a disappointment so they can withdraw from the system.
And we haven't been disappointed.
He caved on Education.
He caved on Stem Cell Research.
He caved on Campaign Finance Reform.
He supports illegal immigration as a legitimate path to citizenship.
He supports statehood for palestinian terrorists.
He's increased bureaucracy by an order of magnitude.
He's increased the budget by an order of magnitude.
Of course I'm just nitpicking minor issues with no significant moral or ethical nexus.../sarcasm. The 'system' has lurched forward down the path of socialism/communism in a major way. I can't withdraw from a system I never subscribed to. I am, however, still very much a part of the system I've been loyal to all my life. That system hasn't changed. I haven't changed. But perhaps it's time to give it a new name. How 'bout the 'Water the Liberty Tree' system? Can you dig it?
For every person like you who leaves the GOP, I can recruit 6 Suburbanites, Professional Women or Gen Xers in exchange. Holier than thou sanctimoniacs are insufferable to be around. They keep folks out of the club. Very few pro-life GOPers consider the Abortion issue their top defining priority. You guys are 5 percenters and unappeasable. Happy Trails!
EV is GOP? Since when?
No, you're a prophet, Mr. "I know destiny when I see it"...LOL
Like most liberals, you ignored 99% of the points I made, and cut right to the chase...if you're pro-life, get the h*ll out of your Liberal Party II.
Only one problem, Mr. Prophet. The majority in the Party is pro-life. Your plan is to replace us, huh? I see.

Would that be 'the liberal country club'??
Why do liberals like you even want to be in a conservative pro-life party anyway? Or on the premiere conservative site in the nation?
That's not support for Bush. I support Bush and I am pleased and impressed with his performance in office. I don't make every policy proposal or legislative compromoise a profound referendum on his LOYALTY TO ME ME ME! I'm not liberal and I'm not a robot. I have pretty good judgment in discerning competence and leadership moreover. I'm solidly for the man. He's on top of events. My point stands.
It's common knowledge. Get yourself up to speed, you disruptor.
Disruptor? And what do you call what Keyes and Klayman are doing by attacking the Conservatives? Brotherly love?
Get a life! BWAHAHAHAHAHA!!
We like being disgusted by the ghouls who look at photos of aborted fetuses all day.
Good post. Don't knock it off.
