Robert Saffer, of Brooklyn, N.Y., left, and Josephine Silia, of Fort Lee, N.J., protest President George Bush's proposed crackdown on corporate chicanery -- charging he continues to protect big-money interests, outside his speech, Tuesday, July 9, 2002, in New York. President Bush called for stiff new penalties for corporate criminals and a crackdown on boardroom scandals Tuesday, promising in a speech on Wall Street that his administration would "end the days of cooking the books, shading the truth and breaking our laws." Saffer said the shape of their signs refers to the pretzel Bush choked on in January. (AP Photo/Suzanne Plunkett)

Resignate:1.) Too show resignation, 2.) 2 be quietly determined. 3.) two modify the shape of a wave form.
The president quietly resignated the sound of there objections.

LOL!!!
Our local paper once ran a contest where the person who was judges to have the best decorated yard for halloween would have a picture of it on the front page of the paper. The winner had a sign with an obviously mis-used word(it was something like your when it should have been you're). The editors never caught it.
To: Drew68
My favorite is the misuse of "to" instead of "too". =)
To: Drew68
You know at some point Robert looked at his sign...And groaned...
To: Drew68
I think that the errors are intentional, meant to call attention to the Prez's habit of...ummm...getting creative with pronounciation.

Oh, and do you know, is the lady with the yellow sign saying that in-state tuition for UNC is over $11,000 a year? That can't be right, can it?
To: Drew68
I think the "Resignate" is just the protester using a cute Bushism.
The guy who thinks that Bush is "to" dumb is just too dumb.

I suspect thats what she is saying. I guess if you include room and board, books, etc... it could come out to that number.
And notice, she is using "NC Average Income" as opposed to HER income.
