VOLUME II GOES TO PRESS! Jeff Head's "Dragon's Fury - Trodden Under" available soon.

Volume II of the Dragon's Fury Series, "Trodden Under", which is about how current events lead to World War III, had been released to distributors and to press.

The book, which is the breathtaking sequel to Volume I of the series, "Breath of Fire", picks up the action immediately after the horrific events of March 15-16, 2006 when the U.S. 7th Fleet and the U.S. homeland are savaged by a massive and surprize conventional attack by the PRC.

It then follows the progress of the war through 2006 and into 2007 as it ragies in Asia and the Middle East and as it spreads to Central and South America and into the Pacific. All the while, extensive terror and military attacks continue to occur within the continental United States (CONUS).

Like Volume I, Volume II, "Trodden Under" is a story of faith and the ultimate triumph of good over evil in the face of horrific obstacles and setbacks. From leaders in high offices of power, to soldiers and sailors from the involved nations, to housewives and their children, down to kids on the street, it is also the story of people - common and not so common - caught up in the titanic struggle.

Look for it very soon on Amazon, at PocketPCPress, at KBSBooks and other places online.

Hey according to Amazon, they are only "eBooks." Is that right or am I missing something?

FWIW, I'm more of a "Hard SF" guy. No offense; I don't even read Clancy.

But seein' as it's YOU....

Were you pleased with sales from Volume I? What were your goals? Did you surpass them? Was the publisher pleased?

I am interested in the literary industry. Thanks!

I definitely have messages though about vigilance, maintianing our rights, homeland security, 2nd amendment, military posturing and readiness levels,...

Do you recall the 1984 John Milius flick Red Dawn? It drove the Left ABSOLUTELY BONKERS in those pre-Rush Limbaugh days when they thought they ran everything, even Ronald Reagan.

Anyway, the film was CHOCK FULL of messages about "vigilance, maintaining rights, homeland security, Second amendment," etc.

Which is why, of course, the Left despised it.

Go to the order page at the main site for the book --> HERE.

The Amazon link for the Trade Paperback is on the far left.

I loved Red Dawn. Great flick. There were a lot of messages in there. I have a lot in here to ... and it builds in each volume.

I've read a lot of Sci-Fi over they years too ... but my own engineering and design expertise, and other interests really moved me towards the military-techno thriller. Althoug I do introduce some pretty cutting edge techs into these books.

FRegards.

It's a self-published work looking for a major publisher. The MSReader eBook has a separate publisher, PocketPCPress, and I am happy with Doug's efforts, though the eBook market is still tiny compared to print.

I had to learn it all from scratch and I am happy it has done a little better than break even at this point in terms of cost vs. income. I believe it will ultimately do very well.

With the three different versions of the ebook, with my first few hundred sales on my own site, and with what Amazon is doing now with the eBooks and the printed version ... I have somewhere between 1000-15000 readers and growing each day. Since I am unabashadly trying to send conservative/moral/constitutional messages with the book, I am happy for that.

I believe Volume II will add to that, and Volume III to that too ... and so forth.

We'll see.

Thanks. Be awhile before we have any "Fire" sales ... particularly for the ebooks, LOL!

But if a big publisher ever picks it up, we'll get the mass volume paperbacks and get the low cost books out there.

Volume is far to low for that now though.

FRegards.

Oops! Thats 1000-1500 readers, NOT 1000-15000 readers. I only WISH I had 15,000. It would be way beyond break-even at that point. LOL!

Not if you want to stay free.

Othrwise the world and history are both littered with the wreckage and corpses of indiviuals and nations who didn't see and understand the need or the tie.

The other essentials are faith in God, morality (those two are tied together) and free will. Those are the true bedrocks to the liberty the founders glimpsed, fought for and tried to vouchsafe IMHO.

FRegards.

Outstanding, Jeff! BTW, I still owe you a review of Vol 1 on Amazon.

Thanks bro. I look forward to that review ... please consider posting it here too.

Either way, thanks for your own efforts and words on behalf of our liberties. You have always been and continue to be an inspriation and one of many bright lights in the darkness.

I really think you will like Volume II my friend.

Best regards and His richest blessings on you and yours.

I'm looking forward to buying a couple of copies.

I'll start calling Barnes and Noble in a few weeks.

The other essentials are faith in God...

IMHO, goes with country and family. Otherwise, according to the Founders (I paraphrase), the Republic may fall.

I referred to Red Dawn in the review that never got posted, as well as War Day by Streiber (?), that vividly described a surprise nuclear attack on the US.

Wish I'd cut and pasted that thing before I hit the "Submit" button.
