We were joined by two more Freepers, Trteamer and Bikertrash. Roy Allen brought along a really fine ahooga horn that I thoroughly enjoyed honking back and that traffic with. Bikertrash brought his son along. He proved to be quite a trooper as he held a flag for most of the time.
The opposition was there and it seems they have brought the ecology aspect to their protesting, at least their signs reflect that. One sign informed us that 'War Distracts Us From Environmental Threats'. To which I responded verbally that we should save the forest by burning them down. They have a sign that states'War Breeds War'. I have way too much fun taunting them with by informing them that "Flying airplanes into skyscrapers breeds war".
Before anyone got there I parked my truck near where they protest. In the back window of my shell was a sign that read 'WE ARE CLUELESS'. I thought it was fitting.
I don't know if it was the weather, but it sure seemed like there were quite a few more folks honking in support of our troops this week. We did, once again recite the Pledge with heavy emphasis on the 'Under God' part. As we were breaking up to leave an Air Force officer stopped by and let us know how much they appreciated us being there supporting them. He said, "We are going to win this war". It was one of those goose bump moments.

Our new favorite sign was held by a VFW member.
The cute and clueless protesters across the street. Oh, to be young and dumb!

Who finked on you? Was it someone that drove by, or was it those commies across the street. Demand to know who your accuseres are! Perhaps we should all wear a CSU shirt.
I'll see about a sign if I have time. If I am not mistaken Trteamer has another bone to pick with CSU, but that is another thread.
