The Bush administration has approved the first federally funded project using stem cells obtained from fetuses aborted up to eight weeks after conception, expanding the scientific promise of stem cell research and complicating the ethics debate that surrounds it.

"Not by a long shot..."
Nope, not by a long shot indeed. Lamphades are so utilitarian, and so easy to fabricate out of any sort of handy material, unlike the drugs etc. that can be manufactured out of killed fetus cells.
You're right. Killing people for their skins for lampshades ain't even in the same ballpark as this stuff.
Now, if someone could come up with a life-saving medicine that could be extracted from dried lampshade-grade Jewskin, on the other hand...
Then we'd be in the same ballpark.
Slow day at the anti-freeper sites?
Askel also has REAMS of material realted to this.
It's allot to grasp right out of the box.
To placate doofus bashers like you, who shout every second of every day saying that there is no difference between demos and Pubbies. Like I said before, the law was legislated and signed by a demo controlled Congress and Presidency(1993). If you can't see the difference that is your problem. There are programs for political dyslexia maybe you should join one. Look one up while you are defending the Libertarians on the "pot will save the world" threads.
As to your convenience, I could care less. Nor have I "revised" one damned thing. I am asking questions and you can't be bothered to find an answer so you spew your barbra streisand all over FR, yet again.
Really? Barbara Sreisand is all for abortion and is screaming the simile to "bloody murder" over having a pro-life administration in the White House.
I took a look at that place out of perverse curiosity. It struck me as a Timebomb2000 flavor forum, but with top hats and spats. Or if you prefer a different equally valid metaphor Nazi Fieldmarshals to TB2K's street trash Brownshirts. (The upscale shop might not come right out and declare that Jews are the Spawn of Satan, or a race of antichrists, but by golly you certainly get the impression that they know it!)
I gues someone decided the Internet wouldn't be complete without a parody of an "upscale" [koff koff] No Jews Need Apply venue. The problem is these parodies take themselves so bloody seriously.
The article is very misleading the way its headlined and posted
Next time post the whole article
I didn't leave out anything. I originally posted the entire article only to have it pulled because, I was told by the Admin Moderator, the Chicago Tribune is affiliated with the LA Times and only very small excerpts can be posted. I tried posting a second time with the first few paragraphs and it was pulled again with instructions to post a very small excerpt. Hence, this thread which contains only the first paragraph and the link to the full article which is there for everyone to read.
Go take your personal attacks, name calling and wild accusations somewhere else. Come back when you grow up.

Spot on, old chap. :^)
I did. It was pulled because the Chicago Tribune is apparently affiliated with the LA Times.
FWIW, I saw your first post of the whole article, and when I tried to reply, found it pulled, just as you said.
Lighten up, everyone!
KFP is telling the truth.
Best to all,
Richard F.
Nothing to offer from your candidate so you trash the other guy.
Your only reason for this post was exactly that.
Soon you will post using words of "founding, fathers, declaration, etc".
You guys have only one agenda.
The difference between your guy and Bush?
One talks religion, the other lives Christianity.
your posts are just personal attacks against the George Bush. That supercedes anything I say in his defense.
What ethics debate?
This issue is gone the same way as the abortion issue. Lost cause.
