Happy 56th Birthday George W. Bush
President Bush is spending today, his 56th birthday, vacationing at the Bush residence in Kennebunkport, Maine. The President spent his day golfing at Cape Arundel Golf Club and also answered questions regarding the assassination of the Afghan Vice President. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

Wonderful suggestion. I like to watch him on Judith Regan's show. He's quiet, articulate, straight forward, and has great leadership skills.

A Happy Birthday, Thank God for our President, Psalm.
This Psalm is certainly one that typifies our President who daily walks with "An Exhuberant Declaration of Faith". No matter what the evil times are in which we live, the God in whom David trusted, in whom President Bush trusts, in whom all are invited to know and trust - this God is the One on whom we can count for strength and deliverance in all our troubled life's troubles.
Psalm 27
An Exuberant Declaration of Faith
A Psalm of David.
1 The LORD is my light and my salvation;
Whom shall I fear?
The LORD is the strength of my life;
Of whom shall I be afraid?
2When the wicked came against me
To eat up my flesh,
My enemies and foes,
They stumbled and fell.
3Though an army may encamp against me,
My heart shall not fear;
Though war may rise against me,
In this I will be confident.
4One thing I have desired of the LORD,
That will I seek:
That I may dwell in the house of the LORD
All the days of my life,
To behold the beauty of the LORD,
And to inquire in His temple.
5For in the time of trouble
He shall hide me in His pavilion;
In the secret place of His tabernacle
He shall hide me;
He shall set me high upon a rock.
6And now my head shall be lifted up above my enemies all around me;
Therefore I will offer sacrifices of joy in His tabernacle;
I will sing, yes, I will sing praises to the LORD.
7Hear, O LORD, when I cry with my voice!
Have mercy also upon me, and answer me.
8When You said, "Seek My face,"
My heart said to You, "Your face, LORD, I will seek."
9Do not hide Your face from me;
Do not turn Your servant away in anger;
You have been my help;
Do not leave me nor forsake me,
O God of my salvation.
10When my father and my mother forsake me,
Then the LORD will take care of me.
11Teach me Your way, O LORD,
And lead me in a smooth path, because of my enemies.
12Do not deliver me to the will of my adversaries;
For false witnesses have risen against me,
And such as breathe out violence.
13I would have lost heart, unless I had believed
That I would see the goodness of the LORD
In the land of the living.
14Wait on the LORD;
Be of good courage,
And He shall strengthen your heart;
Wait, I say, on the LORD!

Happy Birthday, Mr. President~
Thank you for making my heart swell with pride; thank you for making me want to be a better person; thank you for making me cry whenever you do; thank you for being like family to all who love you; thank you for being so calm in Nov-Dec 2000 when all the rest of us were losing weight, losing sleep and losing our minds; thank you for having the Almighty as your moral compass; thank you for touching our hearts; thank you for making us all care again; thank you for the way that you love Laura; thank you for the way you love us - thank you for being...you. God bless.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MR. PRESIDENT!! [NOTE: According to the Presidential Prayer Team (PPT) website, over 50,000 PPTers (including me and mine) e-mailed birthday greetings to the President via the website -- add these greetings to all of the other birthday messages generated by numerous websites/ individuals and the total number of birthday greetings received by the President must have been staggering AND inspiring! The President must know that he is exceedingly loved and respected! God Bless You Mr. President!]
Now, what about those shoulders/biceps -- our Dubya is redefining presidential 'gravitas.' WOW!

My uncle was a rancher and he worked every day for his entire life practically. He retired when he was 75 mainly because my aunt was not very well. When he retired he still looked good without a shirt even though his chest hairs were white and he had more hair on his chest than his head. He also had real white skin except for his arms. But his arms and shoulders were rock solid from throwing 100 pound sacks of feed around like they were 10 pound bags of flour. He was the epitome of a Texas cowboy.

I love it that we now have a president who understands the value of DISCIPLINE relative to his mind, body and spirit --what a wonderful example for all of us!

What WONDERFUL pictures! I have saved so many that my right click is worn out on my mouse!
Happy, happy birthday Mr. President!

I really appreciate the way he dresses appropriately for the occasion. Like the suit and tie in the office, and the fact that he doesn't wear skimpy clothing even in his off time. It is a plus that he doesn't go around showing off his legs and bare chest. That is modesty and decency, another good example for all. When he wears baggy khakis it says a lot about his character that he isn't wearing shorts and going shirtless. Other bad presidential examples shall remain nameless.
