You are welcome. Good grief, I don't go anywhere in August that isn't air conditioned and am not sitting on the side of the road in Crawford until things cool off, lol. I'm a delicate flower, you know.

Thank you for the lovely photos of our friendly dog-loving President.
hsm,
That photo was taken at the Pentagon memorial service and the expression of overwhelming grief has haunted me everytime I see it. I made a scrapbook about 9-11 of magazines and newspaper stories that includes this picture from the front page of the newspaper.

Do you suppose it is a split personality with a love/hate relationship added to it?
Yeah, like a female Norman Bates.

Did Grammie say she was coming back? Or is she busy cleaning out her dentures?
Why don't YOU tell us.

It feels good to get in shape, doesn't it? The extra stamina it gives me makes keep up the exercise.

I don't do *sweat*. I hate heat. Anything over 75 makes me miserable. Supposed to be 104 here by Monday. Oh for joy.

Did you see this in JimRob's first place runner-up Essay of the Week:
From this day forward I am a Bush-bot and proud of it! I am going to help turn this thing around or I'm going down in flames trying. Jim Robinson

**Oh, Brother! **
TELL me about it. I have to deal with the old bat everyday.
To: admiralsn
...making meanie eyes at you...
To: admiralsn
Well Mr. Sherlock...I don't know what the heck the old bat is DOING just now. I don't have eyes in the back of my head ya know. What a dork.
To: McLynnan
My leg muscles are screaming.
To top off my day, I had an appt with Dr. Death..the Physical Terrorist. More joy.

Seven, the press corps stays in Waco where they can have their Starbucks. Baylor University lets them use their athletic facilities so they can stay in shape. Of course, once they head out to Crawford for the day they are stuck there and the general store doesn't even sell designer water.
To: McLynnan
Makes no sense to live in Sac either! We have humidity here too. arghghgh. But we DO have vineyards and cows...which I love.
To: McLynnan
...and mountains. we have mountains here.
To: McLynnan
oh...and the coast is near.
That's an idea! I can move to Pacific Grove. Wonder what I can buy for $150k. LOL
To: homeschool mama
No, but if you go up to the house and get in your rocker and put on your wig, maybe you can shed some light on what "Grammie," if that's what you choose to call her, is up to.
