Larry's views can be summed up by the following:

No, actually, that is a simplification but an understandable one - if that was all it was, Larry would be somewhat normal.

However: Larry's views include, for example, a somewhat unusual take on an event that took place during the holocoust. A German ship with nearly a thousand Jewish refugees was turned away from America and was sent home to Germany, where those Jews subsequently perished. Larry's view of this event is that it was all natural - the Jews couldn't expect Christian America to let them in: "What if there had been another Trotsky among them?"

He then went into a tailspin about how some Jews had escaped to South America and spent the war making money.

Other indicators of Larry's true view of the world can be found in the fact that he was, at one point, slinging the word "holocaustism" everywhere. He claimed to have "invented" the word. However, a google search shows the word to be a favourite of all kinds of holocoust-denial outlets. It's of course possible that Lied invented the word, in which case he's probably Dr. Pierce, Ernst Zundel, or some other figure that this crowd tend to listen to :).

Oooh boy! That is a very touchy subject at FR and will get you banned, but communism is at the heart of the argument for many, especially the eastern European freepers. In fact, the argument goes back to the bolshevik revolution and that Israel being founded as a soviet satellite state. Jim has made it clear he doesn't want that debate argued here, but it is the crux of the argument to many outspoken against Israel--just trying to explain the mindset.

I do know about Kolyma, which was basically a gulag for political and religious dissidents in Siberia. I was thinking about it because of the ship you mentioned.

A special fleet of slave ships was organized in Vladivostok, and carried hundreds of thousands to their fates. The vessels of the fleet were fitted out to enable the maximum load of prisoners in the minimum space. A typical slave ship was the Dhzurma. Erected around the walls of its cargo holds were wooden structures of tiered bunks, four high, while the floor served as the fifth. Each of the bunks accommodated five men in lying position. Prisoners had to slide in feet first with their heads facing the passages to avoid suffocation. If even these cramped places were lacking, men had to lay in the passage-ways, and these one-way voyages would last six to eleven days.

Sanitary arrangements on board consisted of two 50-gallon barrels called parashi, which were emptied into the sea. In bad weather, the barrels would spill, adding to the already thick stench below decks. An outside latrine was also available, but only accommodated a few prisoners at a time, and the lines were always long. Barbed wire surrounded the outside latrine to prevent prisoners from jumping into the sea.

Over a month ago JimRob or Admin Moderator asked us all to cool the rhetoric. As soon as I read that, I stopped. But on thread after thread, you or someone else brings it up again. I see comments I don't even remember making being reposted on threads which have nothing to do with the subject at hand. I have never replied before because I respect the wishes of those who run this forum, hoped the carrying arguments from thread to thread would go away if I ignored it and didn't want to get into another a flame war.

Other than the total annihilation of Israel and all Joooooos anywhere (Which would, I guess result in a sort of peace - the quiet of the grave) I can't say I've ever heard of any of the Billion or so Møøse Limbs even speaking of the possibility that a peaceful solution could exist.
