Shooting at LAX, several injured....

Per LAFD, the latest on the San Dimas plane crash.......

16 injured

10 with "minor" injuries.

5 are critical

1 DOA

Of the 16, 12 were adults and 4 were children.

Witness says that 2 girls ages 3 and 15 were trapped under a wing, were extracted by several people lifting up the wing, both girls appearing "lifeless".

Yes, it's significant. It's significant in that its effect on the American public will be minimal. Unless some true link comes out, my guess is this will have about as much effect on Americans' fears about terrorism as that plane crash in NYC was last November. Everybody was a little suspicious for about a day, and then forgot about it.

Why is a congresswoman there if this isn't a big deal??

Because the most dangerous place to be in America is between a congressperson and a bank of live TV cameras. She's purely taking advantage of the situation to turn it into what is essentially the ultimate campaign event for her. I hope the voters in her district remember this act of disgusting callousness come November.
